I think the convergence mod would feel even more like a complete redesign of this game if there were characters who gave you vague directions as to where to find the locations noted on your starting note

They have updated it since then. You now get two notes for your starting class, where to find your stuff. It's vague, but that's how Fromsoft has always done it, but it tells you where, which is more than fromsoft have ever done. The only problem i have with the mod is they expanded areas of the game, so far i have seen castle morne and stormveil, and my god have they expanded those areas. Almost too much if you ask me. But i geuss you're only supposed to see that if your character is supposed to go there, but seeing as every character can go everywhere, it's a bit much. Castle Morne is huge. Like almost 3 dungeons in one, and so many enemies with no check points. And that random sniping golem on some remote tower that just ruins everything, and also no check points. It's amazing that they did this kind of stuff, but also asking maybe a little too much.

this class is so op in this mod, i did a melee build and got all the rememberance bosses i fought on my first try, mohg, malekith, horah loux, skard, morgott, and more. blackflame is busted

Even in base game black flame is busted as fuck. There are four big damage dealers Lightning with ancient dragons lightning strike Magic with comet azur and tera magica Black flame with literally everything, especially black flame tornado And bleed because big chunk of damage Technically frostbite should be on this list for the same reason as bleed but feck that, you need fire to reset that fast. Dunno about fire though 🤔 its pretty strong in pvp thanks to giants flame take thee but i havent seen it decimate bosses in pve Edit: almost forgot about scarlet rot, but they nerfed it with it being harder to proc didnt they

Hey Domo, any class that has dual stats like this only scale the damage up to 50/50, while any single class scales up to 99. Also, I'd recommend giving Glintstone Sorcerer a go. That's been my favorite class so far, especially as a spellblade using both the weapons and the spells provided.

That's not a change to Godskin Noble, he can do that in Vanilla too. It's really annoying. You don't know if he's going to cancel or go right back into it. You're lucky if he's never done it to you in base game. He can cancel and do an attack and then immediately go back into it, with no animation. Happens when he hits a wall. But the pillars are still his biggest weakness.

the first one is just a back up normally for every class, so if you wanted to in a playthrough you could mix and match classes by travelling to their starting points and grabbing that

I am surprised the added black flame spells do holy damage and not fire damage. In base game the black flame incantations do fire damage with that 2.5% burn effect while destined Death being unique does holy damage and the burn effect. Otherwise everything is great

Probably because of the newest patch. You will have to wait until they come out with a new patch for convergence or downpatch your current game to 1.09

awesome looking spells, but why oh why did they nerf the stacking and make it holy dmg when most bosses are resistant to it unless they changed all the resistances too It made so much sense that the final boss was weak to fire and the black god killing flame did % health flame dmg. It has been awhile, but yes it is. Black Flame is the weakened version of destined death the Godskins used after Maliketh took the Rune of Death from them.
