Custom Splattershot Jr has become one of my top mains. On Splat Zones and Turf War I am often one of the top players for kills and turn inked. Auto Bomb is a great distraction and companions to assist in kill counts. Then Ink Storm helps you push forward and provided protections. It's wicked. Love it!

My favorite weapon is kensa splattershot jr, i love the torpedo sub, throwing em behind a enemy or on the tower and bubble just lets me push

You can actually quick pop bubbles with K Junior. Throw a torpedo at a target at close range and immediately follow up with a bubble that pops the first torpedo which let's you follow up with another torpedo at the bubble. Good tech to know and practice if you wanna use it. Vanilla Jr. is the best though so I recommend getting good at bomb placement and predicting where your opponents want to go. This can net kills or be very annoying for the enemy team to hold key positions on the map.

I used to main Splattershot Jr. for the double bombs because Splat Bombs are just the best bomb and using bomb whenever I can bomb is pretty cool! Then I realized the shot RNG made me miss a lot and not get easy kills so now I just use Tentatek with way better results. AND I still get cheap... I mean planned Splat Bomb kills. I definitely still see people make it work, especially in Zones, but having a main weapon that mainly exists for painting at that point is basically just like using an Aerospray with Splat Bombs.

5:16 Counterpoint: Just a thought but maybe since 1) All the modes are centered around mobility and area control and that there is no deathmatch in ANY Splatoon game. 2) The scoreboard ranks by coverage first, kills never 3) All ammunition and mobility is derived from covered terrain only That perhaps it is the painters who carry you and not the other way around, Kilroy Jenkins?

The Jr. is a Splat Bomb main, and has Ink Armor as a sub weapon. Its Special is the ability to constantly ensure the turf is painted lol

Tip:if your in a position where you outnumbered,use ink armor so it’s more likely for you to make a successful super jump. (I have three subs of quick super jump so I can just super jump whenever)

I main all types of splattershots and as someone who used to play with the splattershot Jr 24/7 it is pretty good but takes a while to manage how to properly use it by spamming bombs and spamming ink sheild or popping bubbles if your team as them. I personally prefer the custom splattershot Jr over the splattershot Jr normal as it has rain and the rain helps alot for turf

I fondly remember getting top turf and 5-7 kills avg for like 4 games on my second night of playing this game, all with the jr (the lobby didnt change much so same opponents) and you bet your ass I was also using the stock loadout. Love this little pew pew.

the jr is bad stats wise, it has the same shots to kill as the nzap but a shorter range and worse accuracy, the aero has the same range but better fire rate, the sploosh can actually kill up close

ever since i started using it, the custom splattershot jr. has been my most faithful weapon; i've found it to be great at covering turf and its fire rate combined with the ink-storm-chicken-rush has gotten me nearly 30 splats in some matches. i ended up using it for so long that i only dared try a classic splattershot like a few days ago.
