I was taking a trip down memory lane today and decided to revisit some of the KZbin channels I’ve followed over the years. I started watching your videos 10 years ago. The first one I watched had HOSSUSMC in it. Don’t remember which one exactly, but the next few I remember distinctly were the ones about painting your firearm with the inventor of the grip stop. I sent in a comment on that one and got a response from you and remember how excited I was from that. Long time viewer and happy to see youre still making videos all this time later.

Capn, I enjoyed another Berz-n-bags chronicles. The chest rig appears to be quite functional piece of kit. Cheers, Mate.

Great bag. I’ve been using my runners kit bag for the past 5 years for trail runs. Fits my 43x, keys and phone just fine.

I tried it but it was super stiff, zipper got caught on the edge on top. Wasn’t a fan. Maybe I just got a dud.

Looks like an all around functional chest rig/bag. Thanks for thorough look see. 🤠

chest rig type bags are great. I like to wear this on long trips while driving as well. I I don't have to dig around for stuff in a separate bag or in my pockets while I'm driving. I also have the one Osprey used to produce for when I travel like on planes, I helps keep me organized and keep my stuff accessible. My only gripe is that I wish the straps were removable so I could stow them away and just use the pouch portion as general pouch in certain situations.

I do enjoy my bag, but I think a mention on the price would have been useful. Obviously, I decided it was worth it, but perhaps its mention would help cushion the sticker-shock a bit.
@CaptainBerz Жыл бұрын
I disagree with sticker shock. I want other Americans (companies and their workers) to live a great life and put food on the table. It costs money to produce items. I have no issue with the price on most USA made things.

Your suppose to stage the 2 zippers o together at the top right corner with a lil gap in between them, one zipper on top and one zipper going down the side to make the corner the gap..then you grab them both with your offhand and yank down, opening the bag as your right hand goes for your peace keeper.

That is one way. Not the only way.

Thanks for the video, great chest rig! Do you think it will fit HK mark 23? I been in woods with exposed chest rig…. I don’t like it in the warm weather, too much attention. It is an obnoxious firearm to begin with, but it begs to be used. I believe in using all tools. I have other options, but I’m committed. Thanks

What is the "holster" you are using for your pistol? Looks nicely minimal, but I'm unfamiliar with brand/model. Thank you. This pack is on my short list of next purchases.

Not a criticism but just curious why you have your pistol in the centre compartment when the rear compartment is the dedicated pistol component? You age losing all the hook and loop and Molle capability of the centre compartment?

Works better for me.

@@CaptainBerzExtra layer of padding between your chest and the firearm… And, it is easier to access the middle over the back. I stage both of my zipper pulls tucked inside the bag, with a gap, at the top corner above the pistol grip. I just shove a finger or 2 in and rip outwards, rolling both zippers out of the way in one motion, and leaving the pistol ready for purchase…

What’s the purpose of carrying a note pad these days, when we all have iPhones with a “notes” file in the phone?
@CaptainBerz Жыл бұрын
Why not? Saves battery on longer hikes if not bringing auxiliary battery. I will never rely 100% on tech. Screens to small, usually a pain in the ass for me. Easier to jot things down and then if needed throw in to an app like Huntwise later when I can analyze better.
@stalwart2639 ай бұрын
Never had a flat battery? Never had to write down something for someone else? There is no real substitute for a real notepad.
@colt10mmsecurity689 ай бұрын
@@stalwart263 But when hiking???? Really? With that line of thinking, why not bring a cordless drill? … might have to drill a hole along the trail. Why not bring a coat hanger? Might have to hang up your hoodie on the trail. Why not bring a plunger? ….might have to unplug a forest siht-house. Why not bring a bag of chips? …you might find some cheese along the trail.
