The biggest battle in ancient warfare that I know of is the Battle Of Changping between the state of Qin and the state of Zhao in 260BC. The Qin had 550,000 men and the Zhao had 450,000 men. But even then, that battle lasted for 2 years... As far as I know there are no real historic battles that are quick and decisive at the scale UEBS 2 can provide. The biggest real battles of this sort have about ~200k - 300k men total (that is both sides combined) and I think that even then they also count non-combatants.
