The Payday 2 shadow-creature is not just a cool, creepy easter egg. It is also, no joke, incredibly important to the overall lore of Payday. You can even end up in a secret ending on the final heist where you fight Demon Cloakers and find what is essentially an Illuminati Pyramid, before helping a friend essentially soul transfer into another person. Seriously, Payday lore is insane.

The lore in Payday 2 is weird. It involves the gold taken from The Secret in the first game and is used in an antient alien ritual as a alien artifact site buried under the white house. It involves stealing various boxes throughout the missions, a medalion from the Brooklyn heist, burning a book, assembling an alien artifact then make it resonate to the tune of a song you can play on a Piano in Scarface's Tony Montana's room (he is alive in this timeline), and invade the white house to discover an ancient vault that must be discipher using the language from the alien artifact you assembled. Oh, and shadow creatures are attacking you white you are cracking the ancient alien vault. Then ends with killing Better Call Saul's Gus Fring and saving your man behind the screen, Bain, and swapping his mind into the President's body using the alien ritual since his body is dying from a mutated virus. Yes, this is a game about robbing banks.

In the October update for Ghostwire Tokyo, you are given an outfit titled "Artist's Suit" as soon as you enter the game, provided chapter one is complete. Not only that but in photo mode you have the new "The Perfect Shot" emote, where the main character will pull out a camera when you have him do the emote, and then will snap a picture when you have him do the emote a second time. These are both references to The Evil Within 2, the outfit is the one the antagonist Stefano wears, who constantly talks about the "art" he makes with his camera, taking pictures of people in their moments of death, there's even the sound of a camera snapping whenever you equip the outfit. The camera used in the new emote is of course, the camera Stefano uses as he makes these graphic pictures.

In Grounded, I noticed a nice little detail when fighting mosquitoes. If you allow it to hit you, you'll see it's blood sack turn red and collecting it allows you to get both items. Actually, the giant shadow in PAYDAY 2 is the Nephilim. In PAYDAY Lore and Real World Myth they were fallen angels that fell from the sky after they were attracted by the beauty of women. As a lot of people have stared, the giant in the sky is a nephilem which is part of the Payday 2 story, BUT Payday 2 does have some easter eggs! Around some of the maps are little statuets of characters from the Gungeon, I believe. (It has been a while since I have found and seen one of those statues.) I think they might be random, but I have found them in the bank of one of the jewlery store heists and in the parking garage during Hoxton's breakout.

In 2001's Zoo Tycoon, changing the date on your computer to certain days will unlock holiday specific items (October 31 and December 25). There's also three in-game day events on October 17, as well as the two above, along with unlocking the items from above for purchase on that day in game. There's also plenty of hidden animals you can unlock by changing the names of enclosures, like Xanadu for the Unicorn, Cretaceous Corral (in the original release) for a Triceratops, and Super Croc (in Dino Digs) for the Deinosuchus. There's also a few others that gives you bonuses, and placing the Mermaid statue (Marine Mania) in a tank will cause it to break open and turn into a Mermaid. Renaming guests a ton of different names will change stuff about your zoo, too. Akiyama will unlock and complete every scenario in the game, Bill Gates will donate a lot of money, and Zeta Psi will make people get sick. Final thing for ZT1, putting a Lion, Tiger, and a Bear in the same exhibit will give you the Yellow Brick Road path to place. Zoo Tycoon 2 has a few less, but in the Extinct Animals expansion pack, if you mess up in the genetic lab, you can accidentally create a squirrel, a big toad, a butterfly, or a killer penguin (which is a reference to a bug from the first game) If you release one of every extinct animal to the wild, you unlock the Quagga. If you place the Glacier exhibit enrichment item in your zoo, there's a chance a caveman will be inside, and he will eventually thaw out and can wander around your zoo. There's a TON of hidden rewards in that game from finishing scenarios in the campaign. There's a 1 in 500 chance a male guest will walk into the women's restroom and run out scared, while other guests will laugh at him. If you put the paint easel enrichment item in a Stokesaurus exhibit, it will put on glasses and start painting on it (a reference to one of the blog posts made by the two mice reporters on the cover of each game). After 50 in game years, the agave cactus plant will bloom into it's "century plant" form, and after 10 years will unbloom. If a rampaging dinosaur creates rubble, other animals might play with it. If the dinosaur destroys a hot dog stand, it'll drop hot dogs that carnivores can eat. If you have 5 or more cotton candy/coffee places in your zoo, young/adult guests who buy from them will move at double speed, as well as staff who have a coffee stand within 9 units of their staff center. Finally if you spin the level select globe fast enough, every human on the planet will start screaming. It would be awesome if you covered these two but I can get how that's not easy since Microsoft refuses to release them digitally. I still have my old physical discs and somebody online has created a no-disc cheat so you don't actually need them in your PC to play anymore, though :))

For the Payday 2 Easter Egg, it's part of a massive Egg where... hold on, just to be safe SPOILER WARNING FOR THE TRUE ENDING OF PAYDAY 2!!!! Alright, so basically there's a sort of time loop thing going with the story going back to the Ancient Egypt days and ultimately the crew steal, quite literally, the entirety of the United States.

The giant creature in the shacklethorn auction can be seen in paintings and some people think that the larger than normal open coffin ,on the Diamond Heist given to you by the dentist, contains one of these creatures remains, also one can be seen at all times in the Whitehouse heist after you finish the easter egg

For the Asterix and Obelix XXL game, I used to play it on PS2 a lot. The entire “joke” around the game is referencing popular video games characters. I remember a Sonic enemy and a Splinter Cell reference though a side character. But I think aside from all the open reference in the game, you may have a lot of cool secret Easter eggs throughout the game…

For the payday 2 monster, yes It can be found several places in the game. There is also a chance that in the Henrys Rock job, when the right door open and you walk in the laboratory, you will see a giant Alien kept in a cooler or something.
