So, I believe that the Reaper's Chest contains a type of cure or magic that is the type of curse that can be used to create and bear life. Explaining the the magic beams that is seen in gameplay, and the strange ghastly mist that comes out of the lid. So assuming that this can be contained inside of a bottle, or some other container it can be used in a ritual of sorts to rise wood or bone to life.

I have very good reason to think that rare is teasing “frozen fangs” because at ancient spit outpost in the weapon shop their is an axe on a mount on the wall that is the exact shape of the wolf head axe that guy designed AND at galleons grave outpost on the right hand side of the bar there are harpoons like the ones in the fan art idea

How about the curses that your pirate can wear , i believe that the fire one is the process of becoming one of these ashen lords , and a think that , like , the golden skeletons are pirates inflicted with the gold hoarders curse . One thing that i like about the ashen curse is that the pirate chest and ribcage glows like the heart of the ashen lord

Well, the phrase 'hard-hearted' exists for a reason...perhaps the process of creating an Ashen Lord is akin to putting clay through a kiln or crucible. Take an unsuspecting pirate and harden them into bloodthirsty monstrosities. The whole patchwork look might not even be construction so much as a half-assed attempt at patching up battle damage.

They are easier to kill than a plant skelly not in water. Charge twice they eat charge one more they die. They need to make them slightly harder maybe even force spawn several skellys to protect their "masta" or maybe a poison effect on their cutlass so it's harder to fight them. Beau Pendleton I meant in the sense that our characters are to an extent undying. Sure you can sit on the Ferry of the Damned, but eventually you must return to the land of the living. I’m certain enduring all of that would eventually begin to wear down our bodies leaving us as shambling skeletons, still on the pursuit of glory, adventure, and riches as we scour the sea.

"The dead body lives on." Hmm, I don't know that that's quite proper phrasing, for one thing it can't be alive and dead and also there's nothing functional for a living body anyways (it'd at least need muscles or similar to move if it was a live body). I think it's something more along the lines of the mind controlling the remains of the body through some form of telekinesis, though they can't really utilize it to any more potential - most aren't smart enough and a lot don't have the capability to even think of the possibility. At least, that's true for the normal skeletons and the captains, and likely even the normal Lords in most cases. These Ashen Lords seem to have some exception to that, but I believe that heart (despite likely being what actually controls the entire skeleton) is the only part of it that remains of the original servant, whose heart, loyal to Flameheart, was then placed in control of this mishmashed skeleton, and this living body in control of such an augmented body is likely what gives it such power.

I think that the Ashen lords are supposed to be past lore, and that you were only collecting all of those bones in order to raise flameheart and not the ashen lords. Minions and skeleton captains couldalso be constructed, but I think it would be better if Raremade Ashen Lords a thing of the past. Nice break down though.

The Ashen Lords are not like skeleton lords, as shown in this video. We've yet to encounter one (in its physical form, at least), but it's clear that while they were once a greater threat and now are possibly all gone (some might still be lurking around and now preparing to serve him again), Flameheart intends to rebuild his army of them. Stitcher Jim was the first of this new set of Ashen Lords, at least that we know of.

Not only did he have two heads, but his bodily shape was irregular. Maybe Skeleton lords are an evolved state of the Ashen Lords, where such power did not have to be constructed with such a tedious ritual?

It's entirely possible that one could be a more advanced form of the other, but which was first is something different. The Skeleton Lords could be a sort of lesser Ashen Lord formed from perhaps the remains of an Ashen Lord succumbing fully to the skeletal curse, or the Ashen Lords could be an improvement of sorts on the Skeleton Lords. I don't know that the Two-Faced Scoundrel had much different about him, and though it kind of did look like it was two bodies fused together in some ways, he clearly only had one skeleton. The fact that he decorated his body with the bones of baby krakens probably didn't make it much clearer.

I don’t know if this is important or anything, but on Crook’s Hollow, in front of the beetle rock in the cavern, there is a skull that looks like a ritual one stabbed on a spike, but it has a Gold Hoarder symbol on it. I don’t know if this is something that will play into the story or if it’s just an Easter egg, but I thought I’d let you know.

Since the gold hoarder returned. A mysterious stranger appeared. She befriended snitcher jim. A long time past of the two of them being sneaky and practicing voodoo mainly threw collection of reapers chests and the reaper bone crates. Sea bound soul They found away to unlock ghosts from pictures. We and are crew were drawn towards shipwreck bay. Where we freed a ghost from a painting. He led us on a chase of a great ghost ship battle to retrieve 3 souls. The third soul we released was captain flame hearts spirit. The threatened war on the sea's . Was tired of sea of friends lol. Heart of fire. Play this it ls fun and lore is easily digested. Peace and pirating
