I've loved all the different versions of shanties we've gotten these past few months thanks to the Wellerman craze, but there's something so... right about hearing someone sing a shanty acapella. Thank you for this playlist!

Love these playlists! Thanks Captain Halyard! I'm a seafarer but I always think I was born in a wrong generation, the rhythm of modern ship is getting faster and faster, no people will sing these songs for now. Seafarers who lived in 1700' , 1800', they had their own legend, risks, stories and mood, they are the people who really knew what's inside the shanties. But also thanks for today's tech, seafarers' lives are guaranteed more than before.

Your not the only seafarer who thinks he was born to sail wooden ships. What I would give to stand on a quarter deck of a ship in full sail.

I listened through my headphones so as to not disturb my wife while I worked in my at-home office. All went well until I lost the ability to not sing along. I couldn't find any art credits, so please pass my admiration and respect to the artist(s).

I may do if I find the time, but to be honest, it's not something I'm planning on doing just yet, as the names of the artists aren't always readily available. My best suggestion would be to take a screenshot of your favourite images, and use a reverse image search such as Google or TinEye. Hope that helps :)

If there are any particular images you would like to find, I'd be happy to look those up for you

These aren't sea shanties. Its just someone singing to a random cadence 😂
