I absolutely adore the Herald-Class, but red is going to need something in a greater punching class to keep up with Mors' beautiful warcrime of a destroyer. Would've been interesting to see how that fight went if the asteroids weren't red team conspirators and Mors had more ammo. Speaking of bigger, how kind of blue to gift that giant chunk of salvage to the Castle Harbinger Program.

So, the premise of this entire series is a combat exercise, right? Imagine the review board's face. "So... he crashed his ship, into an asteroid, less than a minute into combat?" Yeaaa I don't think Tigz is getting a promotion any time soon.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the Blue Team should repaint the Styx? Replace the red stripes with blue stripes? Maybe it won't go as fast, but 'being on-brand' is important, too, right? Edit: 'Should've', but it's moot now

6:50 “Over-engineered on Blue’s part” yeah that could be Blue’s greatest flaw. I think they were cooking with those small cheap fighter craft in the beginning, they just needed a light Corvette/Gunboat/any fast attack large grid class you can name and use multiple of them to perform hit and runs on the Reds. They’ve spent far too much time collecting and just pooling their resources in order to build these heavy and slow, although heavily armored, ships that don’t end up being able to maneuver well enough not to be taken out by the VERY strong weapons being used from the mods. They needed lots of PDCs with a few large turreted/fixed direct-fire weapons and some torpedoes/guided missile batteries. I’m gonna keep hoping they pull through, but the Harbinger/Vengeance 2: Electric Boogaloo may be too much to handle when it’s completed. Edit: that ram with the Styx was brilliant, easily the best thing Blue’s done this series 😂😂 Also, Mors’ ship seems pretty good, probably helped largely cuz of the PDC coverage it had. It’s a bit too much of a “workshop ship” (cool over function, just looking at the exposed jump drive at the dorsal side of it), but if it works it works.

Good work blues one advice go for corvettes like 4 corvettes 1 Destroyer and you should be fine just put small rail guns boys and get closer they have long range rails so close combat! Good fight keep on the Good Work

its a pity there isn't a self-destruct option/mod (not counting filling the ship with warheads). that would have made that final ram so much more devastating

@@jstalk1its secret is a mixture of decent maneuverability, good point defense coverage for missiles, and a good amount of weapons. It also seems to have pretty good armor. I reckon it’s more of a “cool ship” in its design over a super functional one (judging by the jump drive being literally exposed to the vacuum of space lol), but they’ve made it work especially cuz of the PDC coverage, the Reds use missiles and torpedoes more than anything.

red team has the Styx, it can be rebuilt, they have the technology, faster, stronger "bionic man music and effects in background".... question, if you fix the Styx's jump drive only you could always jump it back to red base..... right?!?!?!..... of course it has been critically wounded twice this season... could be candidate for the Castle treatment..... SAAALLLLVAAGGE....

SPOILERS So...the Styx is gone, the two ships Blue has are both badly bruised, Red still has the shipyard and still far exceed Blue in production. Blue's cornered here the only reason I can see why Red wouldn't finish them off is because then the series would end. Blue's gonna need a miracle to come back from this, it feels really one sided...

@@CaptainJack Your team totally rocks! Your opponents [somhow] seem to just have no concept of tactics or military operations. If I were able to join, I would certainly want to be on YOUR team because I wouldn't have to deal with bad management or members with no skills in strategy or foresight. And while yes, I realize, both sides have made a few mistakes, your team is really doing a much better job from square one and moving forward. The blue team has gained [and lost] the upper hand many times early on, and without any sense of how war is fought, seem to have utterly failed to do anything except cut and run, except for crashing the Styx, and even that was a horrible military decision on their part.

@@fisk1643 1, It was still moving on its own power. 2, if it needed to be crashed into anything, they should have crashed it into red team's base after faking a return to blue base. It would have at least made it as far as enemy gun range. Otherwise, hitting something that was already wrecked didn't do much except put it in a place where it could be readily ground down and used to repair other ships. Blue team simply doesn't know how to fight.
