It would make sense to add a “solo section” of the map for people that want solos, and the regular “public section” for the multiplayer. Like a portal to bring you to an island that has multiple stages for you to play solo.

The only things that I get slightly annoyed by are the wait times when searching for opponents and when choosing songs, it's pretty annoying that you gotta wait essentially 30 seconds just to play a song when you're battling someone else. If both players select a song and map, it should automatically start. As for the point reductions, they are absolutely pointless. You're grinding for animations and emotes, it's not like you're grinding for weapons in an FPS or abilities in an RPG It would be pretty nice to have more stages around the map though, but that would probably require expanding the map

It automatically starts but players need to choose if the winner wins with accuracy, points or less misses. If both do that it starts.

actually you know what would i add? i know it's pretty useless, but if you go singleplayer and select a song from like, Mami's section, when the song starts, the game loads the mod's character as an opponent, in this case, Mami tomoe is the opponent, it's just there so it doesn't feel empty.

Soloing in public servers happens for a reason. If you wanna point farm and have no one to play with, you can do solo. But in private servers, the point system is garbage.

I don't get why so many people get so upset with the solo point decrease. Most people are only soloing because they feel like it with no good reasoning. There's virtually no difference between playing solo and playing someone else. Just go fight someone for more points. It won't hurt you in any way (except maybe losing a streak that soloing wouldn't get you anyway). Toxic people need to stop resetting when people join the other side. Edit: Some people reset and play solo in order to avoid toxic players thanks to Roblox's user blocking limit. Funky Friday really should remove at least the VIP server point decrease as it's pretty much the same as a public server.

The solo problem is kinda a combination with point decrease on VIP servers. Solo on VIP gives you like 5-10 points so people solo on public servers instead.

Well you see, toxic players do exist. Say you won a match against a toxic player, and now you wanna go play against someone else. The toxic player is going to follow you spamming you for a rematch. That's obnoxious for the entire server. Personally i trust nobody except for my friends when it comes to 1v1s so that i can avoid this situation.

With the soloing in the public, people do hate other people being only 1 person on the stage, but the thing is that if funky friday would remove solo in public servers, then most people would leave the game because solo in private servers, when you finish a round, you get like 5-10 points (except for really easy/medium songs)

For the solo feature, I feel like the devs should just add more stages to match the server size, so that if even all of them were taken, there would still be one more for you to play on instead of drama.

The solo feature exists for a reason. I remember playing before it was added and having to wait stupidly long to get 1 guy to go against. Every argument going against solo playing in lobbies is easily deflected back at not having it at all.

Probably my least favorite feature is forfeiting a match. I've had this experience SO MANY TIMES. Probably my solution would be to remove those options only when during a match, and have the option come back after a match is done or before you pick the song

Win streak imo it's probably one of the worse features, you either have people running from you because they think you are invensible or people harassing because they want to break your streak (apparently, people don't realize a lot of players couldn't care less about a streak) It reached a point where my fiancee lost on purpose so finally people would 1v1 her for fun. Points reduction is also ridiculous, specially when all you can get with them are just cosmetics like animations and tags.

Yea I 100% agree. I made a comment talking about this. People kinda over hyped how much solo players have . Like I know some people want to 1v1 but the mask majority clearly don’t. And playing in a private server gets boring. Even if I solo seeing others play and talking in chat makes me play more. That’s the problem with private servers. They fix the solo thing but then at that point not many other will be in normal servers and that could kill the game. People also forget it’s mostly newish players who solo so they can get better so they can 1v1 . I know this from experience I was like that I wouldn’t play the game cus I was scared to play cus I was a noob. So I did solo (with a alt cus back then there wasn’t no solo) and wean I got more comfortable I started to do more and more 1v1. If ppl just ask to 1v1 in a nice way more people will do it. Another problem with why most players do solo is cus well it’s kinda rude to just walk up to someone on stage and instantly 1v1 them. I’ve had some problems with playing with someone and just having fun but since player two took some time to rest up a random jus takes there place right in front of them. To me the best way to fix this is simply add more stages in the game plus add more players per server . This will fix both problems. (And players need to be less rude)

Everyone says that solo should be restricted to VIP servers. If it is, then that becomes incredibly unfair for console players. For example, when I play on my Xbox, I cannot join any VIP servers. They aren't even supported, because one time I tried to join my alt in Piggy and Roblox said I couldn't join it. For someone who doesn't care about points and just wants to get better at the game (me) soloing is good. But if they restricted it to VIP servers, I'd be screwed over.

I have a few nitpicks with some of this game's "features." To start, point limits in a song. I've tried to come up with a good reason for there to be a limit of being able to earn no more than 50 points for 1 song, but that was more or less wasted time. I feel like the point limit needs to be raised, or even completely removed, especially because of songs that are really note-dense like Ghost, or songs that are really long like Triple Trouble. I think that the game would work out just fine without the limit, but if that won't work for whatever reason, a notable increase in the limit would be fine. Secondly, win types. I hardly see anyone using these, and it especially sucks that they're a required thing to select to skip the song selection time. But even then, they're practically useless. I haven't really been keeping track, but there aren't many instances where I win against someone in a balanced song, and I have beaten them in score alone and not miss count and accuracy. The only time I really see people using this consistently are the trolls who pick "least misses" on a song like Run (Insane) or Applecore, for instance. This feature should either be removed entirely or reworked so it's not a required selection to skip the song selection timer. The "impossible song" criteria. This feature, so far as I've noticed, has slowly been getting removed from the game, and I have no idea why. Tell me, does it sound like a good idea to let someone choose an insanely unbalanced song, that's already impossible as it is, for the sole purpose of making someone lose their winstreak, and get away with it? I say no. It'd obviously be a good idea to put this back in permanently, and give it to songs that are already impossible, but one side has it way worse. Like the forementioned Run (Insane), Applecore, and maybe Angy (Hard). I also feel like this should be broadened to songs that are technically possible, but one side has a part that renders it either unable to be FCed or PFCed. Songs that come to my mind for this category are Spectral, Sticking, Unfairness, Censory Overload, and Whereabouts of the Heart (that last one because at the end of the song, there are a few notes inside of a hold note for some reason).

5:47 TOO RELATABLE. i usually have a high (er) streak but not enough to have everybody target me cause of my high streak, so everybody leaves me alone cause i have such a high winstreak. I do agree, yes i want my winstreak to be hidden too

I think the favorites tab really helps get past the selection time limit. It helps get you to songs faster. I don't think a favorite tab would be necessary for backgrounds though. Because they're just for looks, and don't really do much.

Heavily disagree, there SHOULD be a favorite tab, I don't like a lot of maps there, and I mostly use Spotlight, Triple Trouble or Lullaby background, and it also takes a lot of time to find a song, I barely have any time to choose a map because of how much time it took me to find a song. And don't reply with something like "then think of what you want before you enter a stage" because I get ideas when I enter the stage, I look at the song names and mods that are there and I get an idea of what I want to play.

Alright, so, as a person who uses his private server to record most of his videos, I can confirm that farming points on a Solo Server is the BIGGEST no-no ever. Even when this new +50% more points boost, you can get very few points, but more than only 1, it all depends on the song and performance you have on said song, so you might get 3-5, maybe even a itchy tiny bit more, if you select hard songs or do a lot of FCs. Soloing on Public Servers, on the other hand, is a better option, as this gives more points, but not that much. That is, you can still get 50 points (the max. amount of points per match) if you do a Ghost (VIP) with over 1M points, or other similar songs. Of course, Solo Play is good, but not the best. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to 1v1 someone, but the other person restarted to avoid me, or other player who dares trigger their song selection screen. It is, not only annoying, but it also makes me feel a bit sad, like "oh, you don't want to? Alright... Alright...". There are still people who accept 1v1s, and may God take the best care of them, but others prefer to sit alone at their benches at lunch time. We gotta respect them, though, as perhaps they're trying to practice a song, or want to get some simple points without risking their winstreaks (or in case they don't have a winstreak, they might just be little grumpies and want everyone gone from their yard), but dude, staying alone for too much can cause depression. Instead of removing Solo Play from public servers, and now that they've implemented a feature with Tags, Lyte Interactive should create the option to have a Tag on your head that indicates that either you want to be left alone, or you want to do some epic rapping with someone. I'm still not sure if the title should be a "DO NOT DISTURB!" or just an X below your Name Tag and Custom Tag, but that would simplify a lot of things, and avoid many players soe good annoyances. As for winstreaks, I can't tell if this is a good thing or not, as seeing you have the highest streak on the server is a good dophamine source, but it is also a pain in the buck (I once got my 20-win streak destroyed by a player who used Casanova (Alt). I'm no toxic, but I even got close to dox him, and gave him all insult ever written on the Oxford Dictionary because of that), but other than the meanies trying to take away your streak, the option is fine, I guess. As for the time limits, remember when the Song Selection menu was bugged and gave you a MASSIVE lag when selecting a mod or searching for a song on the "search song..." part? That was HELL! UTTER HELL! But Lyte fixed it, and even gave some more seconds to the selection timer, and it's not very decent now. Instead of time limits, I would have put here another mechanic which was also mentioned on this video: *WIN CONDITIONS* Some saw this as a desperate try of Lyte to not get forgotten by MMM, others saw this as a game changer (literally, as that's what it is). The said option was going to make the game more fair, as "even Run Insane is fair now" according to a young Java, but this song will never change. Aside from this song, the feature is excellent, but might also give you some disadvantage if you know your opponent is starting to play, Least Misses is their doom (though every MMM player also fears Least Misses, but still). If your opponent has more arrows, you aren't going for Highest Score, and so on. This is a double-edge knife. As a cherry on top, if you both don't select any, the game will have you waiting those 20 seconds before moving to the actual song (at least that doesn't happen on Solo Play, as selecting a song and a stage is more than enough to skip the timer, but we're focusing on 1v1, not 1v0, so the point stands. Win Conditions are worse than the Timer Limits).

Ruv Animation. Sarvente Animation. Selever Animation The reasoning is the aftereffect that appears occasionally on note-hitting.

Honestly people have to realize crossplay is a thing while everyone but xbox can make vip servers. And xbox players like to solo too. Removing solo from public servers would be kinda an issue to us. Either way people don't really mind watching solo matches, infact i observe some people will hope onto speakers to vibe with a solo player time to time,but i 100% do understand when you wanna play but solo players are everywhere.

I really think that they should probably do what basically FNF remix did: In their game you can't play the songs solo normally and you forced to wait for a opponent to hop on the same stage you on meaning that solo play is impossible but that isn't the case since in game there's a "solo room" which sends the player into a solo booth which is really useful in case you wanna warm up before 1v1ing someone.

Bro when I first go to around a 75+ streak on the second version lobby. These two idiots who probably had troll hacks kept trying to get me to 1v1 them saying stiff like "I'm very bad" and that sh*t so being able the hide streaks will be such a relief.

I personally hate not having an option to disable animations or something like that. For weaker devices, like my phone, these animations can lag my game out even tho I have all the other optimization options enabled. Having this option enabled will turn everyone even yourself to the default animation. I think this would be a good change and it would allow for more low end device users to try the game out

i got an idea for soloing, a option to enable being interrupted. you can play a song while waiting but if someone joins the stage your song stops and you get an extended preparation time so you can idk change settings or smthing if you like changing your animation every song for example. now i'd say this is an option in the settings, probably on by default bcus maybe you just wanna like practice fcing songs like ghost or some of the hardest songs in the game without getting stopped by someone mid song

A couple things I want to say: I really hate that they added ghost tapping because it’s not fair that there are really hard songs and you tried so hard to not mess up and then the person with ghost tapping pretty much just spammed the whole time. Also I hate when they also enable ghost tapping just to pick hard songs and have the game mode to be on least misses. I also wish there was like some type of rematch option after a song ends so that you don’t let go of the mic because I can’t stress this enough when I finish a song and someone was waiting for me to finish so that they could just steal my spot as soon as I finish. Lastly I agree that they should remove the timer on private servers. There’s no reason to have a timer if you’re gonna solo in private server that’s empty.

I disagree with the ghost tapping thing, if you don't like its addition then enable it, or, what's wrong with losing? You DO know that spamming with ghost tapping is useless right? You get a lot of "goods" and "bads", and get misses sometimes, try on Run. Spamming is absolutely useless.

I would LOVE if they made a separate area for playing solo. That's a big reason why I don't play Funky Friday that much, most of the time it takes around 5-10 minutes for someone to join into the match because everyone else is doing a solo match. If they made that a feature in the game, I'd play it a LOT more.

Man, I really do find the public winstreaks annoying. I have a pretty high winstreak myself and people are always trying to 1v1 me to break my streak. Sometimes I don't even feel like I can go into public servers and 1v1 people because they all are after my streak. I would be pretty happy if Funky Friday added an option to hide my streak so that I could feel good about going into public servers without the fear of having to constantly protect a number that means almost nothing. Edit: Just lost my streak of 60 wins to a hacker. People stink.

I’m primarily a single player and don’t really find it that fun in multiplayer. I used to wait several minutes for just a single song back when solo play didn’t exist. That was incredibly annoying. Many people I also played against was very annoying/toxic simply because I got a higher score. Not to mention the stupid amount of resets after playing a little bit through a hard song. All of this unfortunately gave me a bad look towards multiplayer on Funky Friday in general. So, it left me very happy with the addition of solo play, where all of those problems was effectively removed. TL:DR: I prefer single play over multi play.

Honestly leaderboards themselves are a bad idea, it's not like this game is a real of fair competition You can just use an alt or a friend to farm winstreaks all day and be like "yay, i'm at the top of the leaderboard, i'm such a good player" Also even if you're not a farmer and actually work hard for your streak, you might still lose it because someone played an unfair song like No Hero or Run or whatever I personally never paid attention to leaderboards, and i wouldn't even remember they exist had you not mentioned

Thus i'm glad i can play solo and not have my fun be dependent on those people

To fix the soloing problem I feel like they should add a "kick off" thing, where if you can hold onto a button on the stage, if 2 players press the button, it kicks the player on the stage, the button would only appear if there are less than 2 players on stage and the player who gets kicked off would still get the points they would've gotten if they were to reset instead.

i highly agree with the winstreak one. rn, i have a 154 streak and literally almost every single time i go into a public server, the sweaty people or hackers wanna battle me just so they can ruin my streak. they should make it so your winstreak is only in the player settings and not shown on the board.

I'd say that win streaks are my main problem when I play, my highest win streak is 56, and I've played even really tough opponents to get that high, but then some random guy can pick a super long or easy song that I do not feel like playing and therefore putting my streak back to 0. Pros are my least concern when it comes to win streaks. This effect has even discouraged me from playing after I lose my streak, as I was easily beaten by one feature, but all is well and I return to the game at least every 2 days. :)

How about the solo timer, everytime I wanna practice on a casual song say bad apple for example then some random kid walks up and picks dad battle and they won't stop trying to 1v1 me because of the server having very low or absolutely empty amounts of new players who wanna 1v1 so maybe if we can choose solo without the timer so people won't interrupt us that woulf insanely help especially if you want points too because the private server point deduction is a pain to deal with and combine that with soloing because people annoy you is just painful

I would say keep the points the same for private and public servers, with solo play being open on private servers. They could simply remove the ability to get a win streak or score off it like currently solo play but also normal play in privates. Its pretty fair. if I am able to FC ghost in a private, I should get the reward of the points as I would in a public.
