Thanks for the review! What color does the shirt appear to be in person? Is it magenta/pink or is it red? I only ask because purplish colors often look different on camera.

No worries and it's a sort of burgundy magenta, from looking I would say it's very close if not identical to the on screen colour, maybe a bit lighter

Much prefer this to the other doctor figure, wish we saw this one in the other box though. When this version gets a little cheaper I’m going to purchase another to go in display next to my other boxed figure : I hope it Is removable and will probably end up reimposing the bag and editing it to be rejoined baisicly great figure!

The paint application on this one is certainly superior to the last one, not that the last one wasn't good but you can see where they've made improvements on this one

That's the first I'm hearing of that at all, and seeing as I try to keep my ear quite close to the ground re figure news, I'm inclined to believe that's not true until proven otherwise

Well don't take my word as confirmation, whilst I might do advanced merchandise reviews I don't have any official connection to CO, so I'm simply saying it seems unlikely from the perspective of something who collects Doctor Who figures

I know you don't have insider knowledge, but I figured you pay attention to what the people who do have insider knowledge post/say. I'm sure if there were any legitimate sounding leaks going around you'd likely know. Either way I'll keep watching for them. Ian, Barbara, or Susan would definitely be the release that made me finally buy a classic companion. Right now I'm still trying to collect all the modern ones.

From what little inside-company contact I do have I know how seriously they treat security, for example not being able to show the back of the box in this review. So the chances are if someone says "I've heard this insider information" and proceeds to blab about it everywhere it means it's probably not true because they obviously don't realise how much serious trouble they could get in by talking about it.

Well I've already done a custom one so for me personally it's not really a huge thing but from what others say on social media it would certainly be a popular idea
