*_IMPORTANT NOTE : Please read before commenting_* Below I have addressed some commonly raised points in regarding this video Point : “The video starts at “X:XX” Response : Any comments along these lines will be removed. I’m sure some of you think you are being helpful or are annoyed by all the text at the beginning but it’s important information to me the creator of these edits and so I don’t appreciate people telling others to skip it. Point : "What did you use to make these and/or where can I get it?" Response : I made these in Adobe Photoshop (it literally says that in the video title) and if you don't already known Photoshop is a proper professional photo editing suite for a desktop computers/laptops, so if you were hoping to be able to do edits like this on a phone/tablet app then I'm afraid I can't help you. Point : "The watermark is annoying/obscuring the images" Response : Firstly the watermark is set at 5% visibility so the images are still perfectly visible underneath, & secondly the whole point of the watermark was because initially when I made these people began reposting them as their own work...so if you want to blame anyone for the watermark then blame the people who like to take credit for others work Point : “(insert point here) is wrong/incorrect” Response : Firstly please pay careful attention to the captions, often I address that point in them, and secondly these are just fun edits, they are not intended to be 100% accurate to either the RWS, TV series or their real life counterparts Point : Gordon Goes Foreign was meant to be in Series 2 not Series 3 Response : This was a typing mistake I didn't notice until after uploading, I am aware it was meant for Series 2. Point : Can I repost these? Response : Short answer, no Longer answer : since this video has been getting some attention recently, and subsequently I have come across one or two people/places reposting the video without my permission. If you want to post a link to the video *HERE* on *MY* channel then by all means do as long as you credit me, however if you re-upload the video either as it is or re-edit it, or upload any of my edits anywhere else then you are doing so without my permission and I will submit a request for them to be removed, which could lead to copyright strikes on your account or even being banned for whatever platform you post it.

I Really Dont see Why the Flying Scottsman didnt have a Proper Model Series Appearence Cause There was Spare Gordon Models That were used as Scrap Engines. Great Job by the way
@CaptainJimiPie5 жыл бұрын
As I said in the video, the Flying Scotsman couldn't be fully made due to budget constraints, and even if they'd used a scrap Gordon, they still would have had to repaint it, build an entire chassis, make a new face, all the motors and mechanisms etc...unfortunately it's just not as simple as "making it" it would still cost money they didn't have.

I really like the RWS designs you incorporated here: * Percy - Looks more visually appealing. * Toby - The blue sideplates stand out really well against the chocolate brown wood. * Daisy, BoCo, Bear & Spamcan - To save time, I'll voice the same opinion for all 4. Love 'em. I don't mind not having the grey faces. Makes them more special. I think I prefer BoCo with half green/ half yellow face. * Culdee - How has the Mountain Railway not been done in CGI yet? They did the Small Railway. No excuses! * The narrow gauge engines - Fantastic! It always bugged me in the episode 'Trucks', where the Slate Trucks attack Peter Sam thinking he was Sir Handel. Morons! They're different colours! In the book, it makes sense with them all being red.

@@CaptainJimiPie Looking at Mallard, with the face being Matt Black, it's a bit hard to make out the details. Maybe if it has a more shiny gloss look, it would show up better. That's not to say I'm slamming your skill, I imagine it was hard enough just doing the face in Matt Black, let alone trying in Gloss. I don't think I've ever seen a J94 in the TV Series. What's your opinion on season 23 or the whole CGI seasons in general?
@CaptainJimiPie5 жыл бұрын
To be honest I haven't really watched the series at all, since Series 7, although I have watched all the CGI specials up to Journey Beyond Sodor. Whilst I'm always going to be more a fan of the classic series and as a model railway builder myself I'll always think the models are better I can appreciate how they have had to move the series along to keep up with the times, so I don't really get the anger of some fans nor do I condone the attitudes some adopt like they've been dealt a great injustice. But that being said it's a shame that since Mattel acquired it it's become something of a cash cow to them and certainly not what it used to be, and whilst I'm not against it I don't understand the need for all the political correctness/equality in it at a level that younger children won't even notice, let alone understand.

No, Adobe Photoshop is a proper editing suite so depending on what packages you buy it can set you back several hundred pounds, but is it very complex and professional software. For example my edits aren't just copy & paste stuff, there's lots of layering, changing contrast tones, shadowing and ALOT more, it's not something that can really be done in MS Paint

What would Victor and Kevin look like in the model era?
@CaptainJimiPie4 жыл бұрын
As I said as 1:07 I don't have any real interest in doing CGI to model era

According to the ttte wikia big city engine was gonna be made from either Henry or the Scottish twins model
@CaptainJimiPie5 жыл бұрын
I know...I literally mention that in the captions at 3:33, although I'm not sure where you get the Scottish twins bit from, it was documented in concept art that Henry's model would be used, but as far as I'm aware the use of either Donald or Douglas's model has never been mentioned and the "source" which the wiki site claims to have gotten this from was a random tweet that has since been deleted
