As someone who has never played a MOBA before, adding Pokémon to the genre was the only way you were going to get me to play one.
Pokémon Unite is my first MOBA, so I had to reach out to some experts to help ease me into it...

Man I’m so tired of seeing youtubers use another “Nintendo Scandal” to clickbait this game, the pay to win situation is honestly very minor, at least in gameplay. In principle it’s pretty crappy, but I literally have not seen anything that shows that the game is “overwhelmingly unfair” towards free-to-play players.
