I am so glad to see that your response is to challenge yourself 💪🪱 Doing this interview was huge for me as I’ve lived as a hermit my entire life. When we come out of our comfort zones amazing things can happen! I wish you the best, please keep me updated in your journey.

@@OrganicLifeAmendmentsYou were fantastic! You motivated me to do more with my two small indoor bins I started just 5 months ago. I just have a couple raised vegetable beds and some areas for flowers. I’m going to sift my bins and split them to increase the worm population and get more castings. And to hear your and Matt’s opinions on what is happening in the world right now is an affirmation to my own thoughts. Back to basics! My first medicinal herb has germinated and I have learned how to pressure can my veggie harvest! I love that your kids are at your feet and wife by your side when you are worming. You are a good guy!

Once u get over that fear u will go places :). Just talking to people and being real with them and genuine makes a world a difference. When I was younger I used to think I could sell a turd to someone if given enough time to talk to them.

I am 52. 34 years ago I tried to grow food in clay soil. I had big worm bins because I knew I needed the castings to make my soil great.. I wish back then I had known about the back to Eden gardening. I don't have my big worm bins now Unfortunately as I rent, but I have many small bins of worms.My growing medium is mainly broken down wood chips, if I need exrmtra growing medium I use I combination of composted cow manure, rice hulls, coco coia and mix that with my broken down woodchip soil. It works in pots and my small movable growing beds. It does take time fir the back to Eden gardening method to work. This is my 4th year of doing it and my first year of using just worm castings and worm casting tea to use on my plants

I have the same questions several others have asked. Where do you order the bags and what do you sell them for? Thanks for the sharing.
@OrganicLifeAmendments8 ай бұрын
Hello Dan, my apologies for the late reply. I order my bags from Amazon. Firekiln is the brand I do believe. Kraft paper bags. Prices can vary depending on location and whatever you decide of course, but we sell ours for: 1 qt- 8.00 1 gallon-15.00 5 gallon-35.00 Hope this helps.

I have been doing worm herding since my daughter was a baby and I just love it. Ive never had enough to sell but I have given some to friends and most of them now ask me for castings every spring. I think people are starting to get it. I'm seriously considering setting up a little business now that I recently retired. Good luck to yall.

I love all of your videos. Have learned a ton of helpful info. One thing I haven't seen covered is how to prevent/ eliminate pests. Specifically, fruit flies and fungus gnats. I've used Steinernema feltiae with some success but overall gnats have been a serious problem in open breeding bins and somewhat exposed bins like continuous flow through systems. Any tips to offer?
