But to get all of this, we had to cut few things out of our life like limited toys and clothes, always bought 2nd hand books for school, used to ride cycle to go to school , collage and tution classes, no washing machine for my mother, restaurant food once in a year, new clothes once in a year and so on.

Now, when I am 26 and he sees I can take care of myself he says yes to trips I have never imagined. I believe he wants to give us all the happiness he could. Some parents are understanding enough to listen. I have not yet reached a stage where I am independent enough to travel yet there are a lot of other things in middle class families that results in discrepancies between parents and children.
