I've heard wind of the plunger head & gears of the Pharaoh giving out under heavier spring loads. So I personally kept the stock spring in mine when I added the short dart kit. I also cut off the scope and added my own rail. Used a dart holder from a Falconfire upside down to act as a rail riser. Attached using glue & screws of course. The height of the Falconfire's dart holder was perfect. I can actually see through an optic if I put one on it. I recommend slapping a Stampede grip on the front rail. Makes it quite comfortable for a lefty and it just adds to the sniper feel.

Glad you managed to cover the Ultra primaries, and yes, they're suspiciously spicy. Please use Accustrikes in stock Ultra for your own sanity. I'm sure that short dart kit will not disappoint, it hits 170 on the stock spring. Though it's an expensive package, some people prefer it over the Lynx or TC. It can also take Kronos springs, so you could put in one of the obscene springs available there (13kg works, 18 is a bold move but might be a big bump).

@@foamquest Only thing I can think of is the scope was deemed too realistic looking? Or it resembles a real, specific one? I dunno why else you'd add some more safety orange to that particular piece. It's not like they've overhauled the colour scheme and a physical tweak like this came with that.

Captain Xavier Sir, i know that it's expensive and some people think its just a dumb prop blaster but, Can a Mandalorian phase-pulse rifle [orange or the "ltd" editions] take a K26? or atleast something that gives it a bit more "Bang". because i love the blaster for it's prime and asthetics. its kinda reminds me of a Martini-henry crossed with a musket and that is what i was looking for in a blaster and i want to bring mine into glorious combat someday hopefully you are doing well and maybe one day if we cross paths in a nerf war or larp, we might be on the same side. or if not it'll still be tons of fun Bangarang~

No. If you did that it would not be able to compress into the plunger head and thus would not catch.

Sure, just send over a box of Ultra Accustrike and I will happily retest. Keep in mind you have about 10 mins to get them here before I start modifying it with a half dart kit so...best be snappy. ;)

My dude, stop and think about this for a second. We live in a world with spaceships and self-driving cars and you are asking if it is possible to make a shorter version of a foam dart that already exists (Ultra is the same size as vintage Mega). Yes, of course it is. Now would such a dart work in existing Ultra blasters without modification? I have no idea, no one has tried it. Likely because hand manufacturing dozens of custom darts is far more work for far less pay out than just modifying the blaster to take half darts that can be bought for cheap at Walmart. ;)
