They weren't being arrogant, they were being rational. I'm sorry but I'm 100% on Viktor's side on this issue, William is totally out of control, and Marcus is doing little next to nothing to stop him all out of love for his brother. The werewolves weren't only slaughtering humans but vampires as well. Plus, the werewolves were physically far more stronger and much more aggressive than vampires, therefore making them not only a threat to vampires but a problem in general. Sorry but Viktor is right when it comes to William, and Marcus is a fool.

Lycans in human form, likely turned later than the Death Dealers who guarded the castle quickly overpowered two vampires during their escape attempt. And let's go with what you're saying. Here in this movie it was shown that newly turned werewolves could overpower Death Dealers who were likely several years older than they were with ease.

If Marcus was a hybrid then he would easily massacre them but back then he was only a vampire. There's no way he could fight an entire vampire army and win.

@@asiangamer5040 Being a hybrid has nothing to do with it. Marcus easily decimates the present day vampires because they are weaker. But fighting against the ones in this scene would also mean he would have to fight against Viktor and Amelia - vampires he personally created, and thus were on an entirely different level of power.

I thought he became a hybrid same time William started to become a full on werewolf? When did his hybrid powers come then? Might be because a vampire's need to drink blood is out of a physical need for sustenance, while a werewolf's need to bite and kill victims is less out of hunger and more out of its predatory instincts. Besides, how do you know William has not turned hybrid? Because he resembles a wolf? By that logic, Marcus still resembles a vampire with wings in his hybrid-state - I see no overt wolf-like resemblance in his outer body shape.

Na verdade Viktor tinha a autoridade máxima diante do Markus pq naquela época em q capturou William, era os 100 anos do comando de Viktor. Por mais q tinha o Markus e Amélia anciãos tbm. Pq cada vampiro ancião reina por um século. Enquanto os outros hibernam. E assim quando passar o ciclo é a vez do outro. Mas naquele caso estavam os 3 anciãos juntos pq foi uma estratégia para poderem prender William por ele ser muito forte e um só ancião, talvez, não conseguiria sem a ajuda dos outros dois. Tanto q na captura do William estavam os três juntos.
