I think Angel bow is more likely basic attack weapon since skill based weapon restore 25 rage, it only restores 10. The Holy dagger restores HP, works well with Rage combo skill in chapters and dungeons. I use it alongside Dragon Breath Armour, Guardian Ring, Dragon Ball Ring, Bloody Grail and Proof of Glory. With Freya, Slime King and Little Eliie. Which provides enough combo and crit stack with a lot of tank through HP recovery.

The skysplitter is definitely one of the better S grade weapons, especially when you get the Sword Chi upgrade in the skeleton legacy. I tend to stay away from skill-based equipment except for ones that use bolt or sword chi. I tend to have the most success with bolts (because the thunderstorm+ skill is cracked) than daggers, fire, ice, light spear, or poison so I have a little bit of a Combo/Bolt hybrid build.

I found that once I got the knight of the end, I stopped switching to revive cape even for tower. The knight's shield buys you 2 to 3 extra turns so that your dragon armor + elephant can heal you. I still only have epic+2 dragon armor so the heals are not even that great, but with the knight of the end, I can sometimes just squeak by on the heals. With the power up from this 1st xmas event and especially once I got the knight, I went from like tower lvl 69 or something around there all the way to finishing the tower today all before the end of the 1st xmas event. Granted I was also able to get a 2nd hero (I got the ghost pirate guy from the 5 coin chest) and I also got 2 brands (1 starts me with basic sword aura which works for me cuz I'm skysplitter). But the power boost from this 1st event was insane and the event is not even done yet. Btw, I'm f2p. I think I started the event with around 60M cp and now I'm over 120M.

I did something very similar to this as well. Started out with 25 mil, got the 8 coin chest and chose the knight, got the 5 coin chest and got super lucky to get the succubus, and I literally went from tower 45 to tower 90 and up 15-16 levels on each of the 3 dungeons. Also story wise was able to reach chapter 52 and am now at 90 mil. Literally strictly from the knight and succubus, I was able to go from 25 mil to 90 mil power and just stomp everything. This event was insane. F2P as well btw

I haven’t really been using the healing pet tbh. I’ve not used it personally, but I guess in arena anyway I notice that I pretty much smack anyone who’s using it - even if I’m lower power. I personally like using the ice wind fox cause 40% freeze is nuts and flash because he does so much damage. I’ll probably throw in slime king too once I get to lvl 9.

Why would you use Dragon Breath on Seal Battles, though? The bosses there do no damage, so no need for healing. I would use Tunic there.

At the moment im changing my setup. I Go from a crit build with angel to a counter build with Durian. Because Counter works well with bosses and Mobs in chapters. Even 2mobs can BE done easily and smooth. The only thing which i dont like: the dmg output. Fight took so Long that i got time for coffee 😂

Basic attack is the normal attack with your equipped weapon. Rage skill/ultimate skill is when the yellow bar gets full and releases an attack which can differ depending on your weapon. All the rest are considered skills, so daggers, bolts, spears and sword chis.

Think of it as 3 different groupings. Basic, skill and weapon. Basic is your normal (basic) attack, combo and counter. Skill will be anything that is elemental including daggers and your “rage skills”. Weapon will fall under the basic and rage skill along with any of the stats that are listed under the weapon

I'm using a counter / combo build with the mushroom hammer. The main focus is to keep the shield intact, so there's a damage reduction for 30% the whole time. (With mythic mushroom hammer). For Hero's I use; - Knight of the end. Probably one of the best hero's imo. Activating a huge shield once I get below 50% HP. - Undead Pirate; once you get it to mythic, the combo +1 really helps you build more rage, more damage. For brands I use; - Stone guardian; every basic attack gives me a chance to get a small shield, which is huge! Even on counter it gives you a possibility to gain another shield. - Nimble Murloc; start the game with combo+. - Bone club golem; start the game with heavy strike+ - Goblin warrior; start the game with round light spear+. Which has great synergy with the knight inheritance. Besides the more likely you obtain light spear shield. However when I obtain Wild Volture, I will swap to gain an extra +1 combo. This setup lacks a bit attack, but I'm currently on level 92 and with combo mastery, you can make up quickly. It's a massive tank let me tell you.

I would try them both and see what feels better. It seems like the sphinx will give you a quicker crit but dragon might give you better results further in the round. I havnt tested them next to eachother but ill try to in the next days.

i want to ask, i was using skysplitter legend +3 then switching to legend mushroom hammer +2. why? coz i think the 40% combo rate doesnt feel like 40%, it rarely do combos. When i use my mushroom hammer with 35% counter rate, and i really feel the difference, mushroom hammer always do the counter, not like my skysplitter. But, i've an idea to make hybrid combo & counter crit build for my mushroom hammer, im using skeleton legacy. And coz of that, my counter & combo now balance with the mushroom hammer. Do you think its a good idea? or just focusing on the knight legacy? maxing my counter dmg. FYI my build is: mushroom hammer, revival/tunic, 2 guardian ring. proof of glory and bloody grail. All legend except bloody grail. and for my pet: slime, unicorn & flash

I think combo and counter work really well together and if your skeleton legacy is farther than your knight id give skeleton a go. If something feels better continue to go that route!

helo, i just unlock "hero", i'm confused about the legacy thing. If i already equip 2 other hero ( let's say pirate and reaper ) than the hero legacy i choose ( bonelet ) wont be sunmoned unless i put him in one of the "hero" slot ?

I hate that the dragon ball ring is only in 1 rotation of the gear up chest and it's the worst rotation (for my specific build) so I'm stuck using a legendary +2 judgement ring with the skysplitter build which, is ok, but I'd pretty much prefer the dragon ball ring, good thing it's low priority so it'd probably be the very last last thing I hunt. Also, yes, I've been waiting for heaven's mark to show up on my capycapy machine, demonic eye is ok for starters, but with Diego and that new brand that makes you automatically start with the basic sword chi ability (pirate) and all that, heaven's mark will pop up a lot more frequently because my skysplitter is just popping sword chi's left, right and center, so good, wish I had the money to finally get it to mythic, so it'd be even better.

@@nathan6335 actually whisperer ranger is the way to go. Since dagger dmg and the crit dmg is much more siginificant than the skill dmg u get from like bolt dagger.
