1996 Saab 9000 Aero 4-door hatchback in Sky Blue Metallic. It's kind of ironic that they chose this to be the "boring" car, since the Aero was the top-end, high-performance trim. In fact, there are Saab collectors who'd probably want this car. The Aero models are fairly rare.

As an ex car salesman. You’d be surprised how often this makes sense. They describe what they need. I point them at the exact right car for their needs and in the price range. But they don’t like something about it. After looking at the wrong stuff for an hour or two. Right back at the one I knew worked best and they take it home.

At first this show was a *satire* of the same 3 kinds of hipster you found in Portland in the 90s. But as the Bay Area started pouring into Portland like a bathtub drain... Portlandia became a documentary about the cartoon people living in the city.
