I think there's a problem somewhere with the KZbin processing. I have got some comments about audio not lining up, but on all the computers here the audio lines up and the original file I uploaded is ok for audio. It seems that not everyone is having the problem. My friend said he had that before and it cleared up but it was a bit of a mystery. I am working on this but hoping it resolves without having to take this down and re-upload it. Cheers everyone and sorry for the audio issues!

Quick tip from someone who has spent a lot of time hiding vehicles with camonets in the military. 1. You need to break up the silhouette of the vehicle. 2. Hide all reflective surfaces of the vehicle. Those are the main things that give you away but there is a lot more to it.
@TheREALOC19722 ай бұрын
I was just about to say the same thing, I have a 16 foot camper and 1 of the first things I did was went to a military surplus auction and bought enough Camo Netting to cover my truck and Camper. I made magetized window covers and my own Butterfly poles out of 1" square tubing though because well if you know you know........
@RadioactiveSaddamАй бұрын
Correct. We did the same thing in the military, the "boxy" shape of a vehicle must be avoided.

Once upon a time - I traveled out to western Canada on a motorbike - and on several occasions I stopped and camped in just that sort of trail leading off road that Steve found.........................and there is something really satisfying about it................................something to do I guess with it being free and easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those western forests just naturally allow a camper to push deeper into the woods with less trouble than one finds in Ontario or places to the east - since the trees naturally seem to space themselves out more and allow easier access for a bike so you can get further away from traffic noise! The nicest lunch I ever had was on Whidby Island off the Washington state coast - I was rolling along in a light rain getting progressively more cold and wet as wind driven rain and spray from MANY PASSING CARS splattered me...............................and I spotted just the sort of trail that Steve used - rolled in and went a fair distance in - bikes are good for that - squeezing in between the trees - and I actually lit a fire and warmed and dried myself while sheltering under the thick Pine branches - and then cooked up some lunch...........................BEST MEAL ALL SUMMER and in most comfortable conditions as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just simply LOVE when Steve does the "art" shots... its amazing... It simply tells us to stop for a second and admire the nature... or even the most simple things
@Jax49 Жыл бұрын
also, i dont know if people realize (i hope they do) but some of the (regular) shots are not easy to do also... Steve is making a lot of EXTRA shots, like walking and such. When you see Steve go to sleep, its not just simply Steve going to sleep, Steve will film himself entering a sleeping bag, then he has to get out and turn off the camera... its a lot of extra effort.... the drone is incredible addition as well...

Grilling with steve needs to be its own channel. Just watching whatever he is cooking.

Good to see you Steve! Always a good night when a new video is out! To answer your question about the trees, The main reason they trim the bottom of the trees is for spacing, light, rain to get to the roots without the trees fighting over each others resources.. means they grow perfectly straight for later lumbar use.

Also, for fire spread.

Yes, they cut traas to make lumbar, but in Canada we cut trees to make lumber!😆

LOVED the time lapse on this one! Thanks for another great video, Steve. And you are one of the very few people on youtube who would sincerely regret not having a trailer with which to haul away even more garbage. You're one of the good guys, Steve.

a little bit of highway noise that's an understatement, you can't hear the birds chirping, cricket sounds etc

How awesome is that? You only saw it for a fraction of a second. Other drivers wouldn't even take the time to look your way. Hidden in plain sight. Brilliant 👍

This guy is the best. He is the only reason why me and my good friend are starting our own camping channel. Thanks for the great content as usual Steve 😊

Not sure I would watch this type of content if it were anyone but you, Steve. There really is something about your style… your character. You’re just so dang genuine. There’s something very appealing about that. Cheers to you my friend.
