A Hijet panel van dashing through a deep forest where cicadas chirp. Clean air spreads among the lush nature. . I wanted to take a deep breath. Waterfalls flowing between the rocks. . What a graceful flow. The rough waves of the Pacific Ocean make you feel the harshness of the cape's environment. And the jagged rock shapes that are unique to the ria coast are the power of natural seawater. What a great earth. I was very moved and romantic to be able to see the Pacific Ocean from the sky at the easternmost point of Honshu. It was great. It was my first time seeing it. I feel romantic knowing that the black rocks have existed since the time of the dinosaurs 130 million years ago. Seeing the point where the tsunami reached during the Great East Japan Earthquake brought back the horror and sadness of the tsunami. 🥹 It seems that it started raining heavily at night. It was raining so hard that the sound of the rain drowned out the sound of the ocean waves. It was like a cute late-night visitor in the heavy rain. I wonder if he was thinking, "There's something mysterious here!" Dinner was also delicious, with hamburger steak, vegetable salad, rice from Iwate Prefecture (Ginga no Shizuku), and potato salad made with love by Your daughter. Breakfast was iced coffee, bread, and onion beef consommé. The sound of the cicadas, the sound of the rain, and the sound of the ocean waves were also very pleasant. It was a gentle healing for the mind and body. It was a wonderful trip to the easternmost point of Honshu. Thank you for bringing us the most beautiful scenery, including the beautiful forests, the Pacific Ocean, and the magnificent rock formations of the ria coast. 🌹I am truly grateful.🌹

Japan is one of the most beautiful countries I ever visited. Thank you for capturing and sharing some remote beauty with us. I can feel the heat and humidity and smell the ocean. Japan and Canada, where I live, share the Pacific Ocean and it is even more wild on Canada's west coast but not so warm with the weather. If you come to Vancouver, BC, be sure to visit Tofino, BC, as well to see our wild, stormy, chilly coastline. Many people go surfing there and I camped in my van all along Canada's west coast.

LOL You had me waving back at you! What a beautiful place. Very similar to where I live near my favorite lighthouse here in Nova Scotia. Cape Forchu. That is pronounced, 4 shoe. I go out there all the time. It's only 10 minutes from where I live. I watch the fishing boats go in and out. Come the last Monday in November, is when lobster season starts here. A lot of people go out to the lighthouse around 5AM. It's cold and dark. But the little cafe opens up for that day with hot cocoa and other goodies. The first day of lobster season is called Dumping Day. The boats go out after the blessing of the fleet and dump their lobster traps. Then go back out the next day to start picking up their catch. It's quite the experience to watch the fishing boats go out on that first day because they all go out at once and there are hundreds of them. They go out while it's still dark with their lights on and it's really cool to watch. I'm going to have to try that onion dish!
@SmallbasecampАй бұрын
I saw Cape Forchu in your image and it looks very similar. And the beautiful lighthouse was lovely👍. I see that the celebration of the start of the lobster season is a local tradition! I hope it continues for a long time. Sorry for the late reply, I was camping 😊.
