I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! I just binged all your videos. I'm new to Seattle and wanting to get out there so this is an amazing resource. As a woman hiker who also loves to go it alone, I worry about safety a lot, which is why I LOVE seeing you and seeing that it's totally possible, safe, and beautiful! Thank you so much and please keep doing what you're doing.

That's so awesome, and thanks so much! You're going to LOVE Seattle, there's truly an infinite amount of trails to do and they're completely different with each season.

Thanks so much! I've been slipping on editing, but have been doing *lots* of filming since May, so I have a whole backlog of material I'm hoping to get to soon *fingers crossed*

@@PilgrimMemoirs That is exciting! My wife and I watch a couple of KZbin channels every Sunday and yours is one of them! We recently moved to Seattle from Wisconsin and get a lot of inspiration from your videos to get out there!

That tailgate tent is awesome! We're considering something similar, if not an awning or something. Those portable jump starters are so clutch, we got one earlier this year and although I use it more as a power station, we've already helped a couple people start their cars haha But it's an essential, wouldn't adventure without it now. Again, can't wait to get to Washington!

Yeah, I'm still debating if I should have gotten something that is more tent-like with a room - but this one packs down so small that it's easy to keep in the car. But I also want a side awning now, so my list of 'want's is truly never ending 🙃 I'm so glad I ended up getting the powerbank with jumpers, my battery issue went on a week before I got it replaced so I ended up using it at least six times, lol. I have a feeling you'll be able to make it down in the next year, or maybe I'm just trying to manifest it!

How do you find people in the Seattle area to backpack with?
@PilgrimMemoirs2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, just starting to be active again on here after a bit of a break! BUT, it can be tough. I actually go solo a lot of the time. But when I first started I did actually meet some people on the trail that I did end up hiking with quite a bit for a while. People are typically much more friendly and open to conversation on the trail, where small chit-chat on the summit can lead to exchanging numbers and keeping in touch! Or offer to take photos and maybe follow each other on socials, like instagram. I also have seen a lot of people arrange group trips through facebook or meetup.com groups. PNW Outdoor Women Group is a *really* good group to start with, PNW Outdoorsy Gals is also pretty solid. Hope that helps!
