guard rails are not so safe as the manufactures would want us to think. they often break/allow the car or bike flip over them/cause a deadly impact by merely hitting them while still in car or ejected from it or a bike ect. ect. actually guard rails are the leading cause of deaths and critical injuries, for fixed objects car crashes. so just know this - it might save u, but very likely to make more damage....

I had a accident involving guard rails and it made it worse by breaking a wheel off of my car and causing me to spin out of control and into a wall at 50mph because i had no breaking power without the wheel and because i was spinning. So yeh, a guard rail almost cost me my life. If it wasn’t there i would have went straight into the big grass median and been able to stop in it and drive back onto the road and back home, to change my underwear 😆

aharon harris guard rail did the same to me I was lucky nothing happened.

Guardrails only make things worse when installed incorrectly or if an outdated system is instant/hasn't been replaced. As for bikes, guardrails are deadly
