There is also one big MOTHER OF ALL scams. Deals in buying luxury cars with the dealers. Luxury car dealers (Merc/ BMW/ Porsche etc etc) offer guaranteed buy back at the end of 4/ 5 years but you have to go with their loan deal. When you work out the actual payout it comes to an excess payment of 20L per 1 Cr as compared to getting the loan on your own accord. And thats a 20% excess payment making this the mother of all scams.

Yes. What you say is correct but very difficult for a common man to bend a dealer expert sales person. You have to be ready to pretend to walk away and do lot of running around. Also you have to show your seriousness about buying and need to buy a car and have capacity to go anywhere , wherever you get a good deal, so as to make that sales person a bit worry

Thats really true.... Went to book xuv3xo Mx5L varient, insurance was almost 80k whereas in policy bazar it was. Only 30k ,( idv 12 lacs) ... literally cheating customers. When asked showroom manager, i will take insurance of my choice and showrooms cant force customer to take of his choice. He says that Mahendra new model vehicle. So you cant take any other insurance rather i need to take only what showroom offers .This happensld at Hyderabad showroom on 12.May.24. Our views are.... There is a great need for all of us to be aware and to understand the hazards of operating ADAS in our Indian conditions where there js an aggressive zig zag and suprer fast driving and ever present possibility of animals or people suddenly crossing is not (repeat) not UNCOMMON. WHAT will happen if the car in the front is with ADAS selected and the feature is ON and the vehicle suddenly stop's. The car trailing will crash into the front car. Similarly, the sun roof is neither suitable nor good for any meaningful use in our climatic conditions which are dusty and smoky. The dust being the biggest killer for the smooth operation of the sun roof as it causes sluggish movement with irritating creaking sound. (we noticed this to our horror during test drive in one of similar cars) There are many new features which appear impressive but before we celebrate such new facilities, we must pause and look at our driving culture, road indiscipline, the traffic jams, congestion and aggressive behavior of a very large number of drivers who are always in great hurry. (My apologies for saying so, but don't we witness this as a routine on our roads) There is also a need for the various car manufacture's to roll out models keeping in mind our Indian conditions, rather than just vying with each other to step ahead by introducing new features which are not conducive for our roads.. Handling and delivery fees are charged by Honda dealers and when asked their answer was it's hidden by other brand delars inside ex showroom price. I just smiled then sales person said we are anyways offering discount of 65k on Amaze so 5.5k handling charge is not much for customer.

Hello Sir,My Friend is getting Honda Elevate VX MT latest variant with 6 Airbags for 16 lacs in Maharashtra..but when i checked the quotation,Ex showroom price is 14.10 and with road tax, insurance,tcs, handling charges and basic accesories pack the on road price is 16.71 lacs but dealer is giving it for 16 lacs on road.. Go with Diesel Automatic for performance + Mileage... Kia is better...over creta.. For Delhi EV is best... best automatic with power... take a test ride of EV.. as ur well aware of Govt strict norms for Petrol & Diseal.. U can opt it as ur 2nd car...
