Hi Sir, Mine - Isuzu 2006 model classic engine Amby., I went to Tea Shop i e 15 mins travel with AC., After Tea Had, Not started engine., Just IndicTing Battery and Engile Oil Light., No Self Starting Soung/ Crank or Engine Sound., Just Heard Click Sound., But Started Push the Vehicle, manually!!! Its a First Time., Last 10 days before only Battery Changed., What is the Issue? Sir.

Where I can buy new heating switch set

Heating Switch is available all spare parts store Sir. Now the switch of Ambassador is not that much available but the heater switch Set of Asok Leyland Bus manufactured by UNO Minda is same and is suitable for this. It costs about 136/- rupees. Ours is recently changed.

Do we need to pre heat the engine everytime we start it in the day ?

Sir, Pre - heating of old Diesel engines only required at starting when engine is cold. Once engine reaches operating temperature it is not needed. It will start normally. When engine is stopped more than 6 hours after running, it will become cold and pre Heating is required.

Sir I had a mm540 and had installed chervolet taverra engine in that and I had to pre heat it everytime I start it but normally taverra doesn't have this pre heat system so is there any solution to get rid from this pre heat system

Sir, if it old IDI type engine, normally pre heating is required for starting when engine is cold. It cannot be avoided. Nowadays engines is not needed. How is the power and performance of that engine ? How about the speed of cranking of Starter Motor?

How to set the timing in timing case,because my ambassador 2004model over heating problem,I open the timing case

Sir, I don't have idea in timing setting. Because we have not opened our timing case yet. Setting the timing with a mechanic is good. If any mistakes occured by us, it will affect overall performance of engine. If overheating is there, timing is also a factor. But also checking Radiator for block, Waterpump, water passages in engine for coolant circulation all also good. Also happens due to too old engine oil.
