THANK YOU!!! I've been having issues with 1 car door latch, WD40 & a simple push with the finger usually does it. However, today, i made the mistake of pushing the latch the WRONG way! That plus all the dirt/wear, got the lactch VERY stuck. Yes i tried to reverse what i did by pushing the opposite *correct* way(unsuccessfully bc i jammed it up good) i spent about 1.5 hrs looking for a video to "realign" the latch from the seriously stuck position my door was in, didnt find one, but *entire point of this comment* Your video & your explanation about which way to push the screwdriver & to PULL THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE AT THE SAME TIME, was the answer i needed!! Pulling the outside handle while pushing the latch was a perfect realignment solution! Also, it was something i learned today, bc i knew the other tricks to unstick the latch, ive even tried pulling the handle to help, the KEY was pulling the handle while simultaneously pushing the latch🤯 I'm glad to always be leaning something new!

I didn't have oil but tried it anyway. It didn't work until I locked and unlocked my car, then it popped right out. Thanks for the video!
