They are beautiful! Anyway, how did you transfer acrylic paint into the applicator bottle? The opening looks pretty narrow.
@FarmhouseDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I squeeze the applicator bottle and hold in that position, then I just hold the paint bottle about a quarter of an inch above the applicator bottle and slowly start to squeeze the paint, if at anytime the paint starts to pool in the opening of the applicator bottle I let a little tension off and it sucks the paint in. If I get to the point where I’ve let tension off all the way I make sure there’s there’s no paint in the opening and I squeeze again and continue the process….I hope that makes sense…..maybe I should do a quick video on this, you are definitely not the first person to ask this question 😊

Did you just find an image and print it onto cardstock? Or how did you do it?

Hi, could these be made double sided do you think?
@FarmhouseDesigns2 жыл бұрын
That may be tough…my concern would be the strip of stones. I would worry about there not being enough melted aroma beads so hold it together well BUT I don’t think it’s impossible. If you wanted to make these double sided my 2 suggestions for success would be (1) Get stones that are pea size or smaller so you could have a thicker layer of aroma beads on top of them (2) fill the cutter more than halfway for each side. I think the key to making this work would be to make sure you have a layer of beads between the front and back of the stone strips. 😊

@@FarmhouseDesigns I was thinking the same thing maybe with smaller stones and a thicker layer of beads. Thank You so much! Your work is absolutely beautiful!!

My Facebook page “Farmhouse 1205 Designs” but unfortunately I won’t be taking orders for the next few weeks. I’m hoping to be back up and running by mid August.

How much do you charge for a freshie like this? It’s a lot of work.
@FarmhouseDesigns Жыл бұрын
When it comes to price I really believe that we should set prices that work best for us and not what the next person is selling it for. I say this because there are so many factors involved. I’ve seen prices on designs similar to these range anywhere from $8-$18…..my customer base is not paying $18 for a freshie (I mostly sell locally) so I have to consider that the most when I set my price points. For me personally, these do well at $10 but that absolutely does not mean that you couldn’t charge more. Compared to some of my other designs these are fairly easy for me so time wise they aren’t too bad.
