As a tech I just need to say wtf. Can't believe this game actually exist. Wish it was that easy and so many things not right. Couldn't watch the hole thing but still sub to this channel. Ps always change all spark plugs unless your running a east west engine with one bank running platinum plugs. There is to much to actually go into umm great guide for those who want to learn the basics of being a tech but so much more to the job.

Tom Jones Always had a problem with spelling thats why im not in a office but I did manage to get a certificate in aircraft engineering as well as a number of certification in emergency rescue and fire fighting. But thanks for having a go at me for the spelling mistakes I will try to be more like you and judge people I don't even know off a youtube comment. And for you information im a great tech and have worked my way up to manage a mining based fleet company and still have old customers calling me to work on there pride and joy.

The particular car I own has a pre-catalyst that's notorious for going bad, because it's literally right off the manifold, and from the factory the cars ran with hot exhaust gases. Most people eliminate the pre-cat and install an aftermarket header pipe.

I lost it right at the beginning. I don't know if it was because I was barely paying attention and wasn't expecting it or what, but for some reason that just made me lol hard.

It makes sense that the catalytic converter would reduce the power a bit. If you think about it, depending on how the converter is damaged, it could block the exhaust from flowing freely. That means that it would act as a retarder and push the exhaust back into the engine.

Paul, thestigsirishcousin here, you still haven't noticed that after you clicked repaired and the the button to go to the next job the "PROFIT" for the last job comes up in the bottom right corner. It's just as the clip board pops up for the next job. It doesn't hang around so you have to be watch the corner more so the the clip board. Love the other games you play more then this, but it's interesting enough because like yourself I'm a petrol head. I've also signed up to twitch as you might remember the delivery a while ago just to watch your streams. Keep up the effort it's well worth it. You might not read this so hopefully some day you'll notice the profit box,,, lol...

Max McTabish well, i seen a spark plug that cost ~150$ and it went into racing bike, but imo it's a bit overkill :D Guess it's the same with cars :)

Cirno Yes, and because motorcycle has v2 engine, there were 2 spark plugs, each costing 150$ :) so total off 300$ for just a spark plugs, ridiculous right? :D

when a catg goes it becomes plugged up or melted which lets exhaust NOT LEAVE so it will not let fresh air in to the engine and cause lack of power

you should go through one job where you write down each expense and figure out how much of a profit you make just for the hell of it and talk us through it. Also I bet you check the Cat FIRST when a job "looks" completed but hasn't checked. One more thing..maybe they added different stations to the radio..you should check to see if it's still as annoying as it was before :) Good day sir

Why? It's easy to check it. Just look how much money you have before you buy anything then check it when you're done and you know how much you spent then just see how much the job payment is and you know how much your profit was. On the first job he spent around 2k so that means around the 3k profit. And Paul you always have to check the exause when you have a power problem that is one of the main reasons why you can't get power if you have that problem

Samuel Roque it's not that simple. If you pay attention he gets the money for the job at the beginning of the work order. Therefore, you'd have to add and subtract the money used and gained DURING the job to end up with a final profit.

yes i know that only forgot add that in the coment. I thought that is was clear that you got the money first. But it's still te same you see how much you have spent you're money en then check it again and if it's more then what you got (in this case 5K) then you know you lost money and the same the other way it those not change the way you can check it.

I would think the name "muffler" is pretty self explanatory. but yes, a muffler makes the car quieter and also filters the exhaust fumes a bit (but not nearly as much as the catalytic converter does).

Whenever I hear "Noises When going over Bumps" I scream "EXHAUST" Because What I think is That You might Hit The Exhaust Going over the Bump or As The engine Try's to go Over Bump you might hear Clattering or a Different Noise from The Exhaust. Then again I am No Car Expert or Mechanic

guess you don't drive much. cats seem to be kinda common and if you have emissions testing that is something that needs to be fixed. glad there is none where i live. lot of people don't change when it should be too. can't tell if you are joking or not at this point with using hammer to fix. lot of stuff is fixed by cleaning or replacing parts in it
