Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 - Supercharger Quest

As i go in search of the final few parts i need to finish off my supercharged engine, but we find more than expected out in the junk yard.

zexos13 lol was playing last night. Did a full engine rebuild. And by accident when I was filling up the oil I seen a missing clip on the distributer.... Would have never found it lol

Repairing tires/rims is indeed a thing. Tires can be recapped and rims can be sand blasted and re-chromed (if they are chrome).

I think the reason for missing oil pans is the way how the game allows some parts to be installed only after certain other parts are in place. E.g. you can install an oil pan only if the crankshaft with all the pistons and bearings and rod caps are there. So if the game randomly decides that this particular car should have a rod cap missing, it automatically drops the oil pan as well. So the more parts something depends on, the less likely you're to find it on a junk yard car. This kind of makes sense for things that bolt onto other things but is silly for covers and such. This is my theory anyway. This also should mean that if you see an engine with a rocker cover in place you can be sure that all the rocker arms and push rods are there as well.

The rears are the 255 tires and the fronts are the 205 tires which is fine. The game complains if you put different size tires on the left and right.

Alex, I'm pretty sure superchargers for the OHV V8 is so rare because they are only on modded cars. I don't believe superchargers are yet available for the regular cars, hence why the only OHV V8 supercharger you find are on the 32' ford.

It also references a time, especially in larger and more powerful engines, when you had to have a secondary motor to start the primary motor. The secondary motor would be crank started, then once it's warmed up, would try and start the primary. Once the primary was started, the secondary could be killed as it was no longer needed.

Man this annoys me. Vent discs only came about in the 50s or 60s, yet, this Ford has them at the front, which back then everything used drums. Another thing that's annoying, are the cats. Again, these only popped up, the worst ones, in the 70s. Also suspension wise, back then, like 80% of cars used leaf systems at the front and back, especially cheap straight line muscle cars such as a hot rod
