This is why I started listening to American country music with so many similarities to Mexican country music. I'm Dominican born American and I love that there is mixing now to include Latinos. Country music comes from African American blues to European American now Latino American

Then you need to study the Bakersfield Sound and get a better understanding of where it (Country Western Music) was appropriated from. There are many different types of country music. Out here, in the western states, we know where our influences come from. The hats, boots, Nudie Suits, chaps, vests, saddles decorated with silver conchos all come by way of Mexico. But, nice try shutting out something that goes against your ideas of what country music is. Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire is rife with contributions of Mexican music same thing for El Paso by Marty Robbins. Heck, anything by Marty is chocked full of Mexican influence.
