I'm constantly reminded of the story of BMW building the most powerful F1 engine ever, they started with M10 engine blocks sourced from cars that had AT LEAST 200k miles, because by that time the block was bulletproof. so they stripped and bluprinted them them showed them insane boost with no issue. They made a 4 cylinder that made 120hp factory make 1400hp under boost. They only stopped using them because they were too insane even for F1.

I like doing junkyard builds where you just source most, if not all your parts from a junkyard, and chop and weld your way into a halfway decent machine...asuming you start with something halfway decent and isn't falling apart or rotting away. but then, the shell gets stripped out, the chassis stiffened and reinforced, and everything made minimalist but strong, because racecar.

.............................. As to the 98 Accord. A "Honda" from 1998 with 150K miles, that's VERY LOW MILEAGE for such a car and of such a year! These cars (Hondas & Toyotas) can gain mileage up into the 500, 600K range without a problem if taken care of (not beat on). My 2003 Corolla I have that I'm restoring & customizing has 275K on the dial and strong/reliable as Hell. Never have had a problem with the engine internally, just your normal things like starter, alternator, water pump, etc.. The thing I find ridiculous though is he paid 20 grand (lol) for a 98 that someone else customized. Who's gonna' do that? For 20K he could have bought a new fkn' car (with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty) and customized it a lil at a time. And the Camaro, wtf? The person's obviously NOT interested in making a sale if they can't even take the thing to the frigin' carwash in order to take decent (clean) pictures of it. That kind of stuff pisses me off, what a lazy f*ck ! But dude I have a question for you... You have money for a McLaren but no central air yet instead a shitty portable room air conditioner, lol. And have some pride, the room you're broadcasting out of looks like crap! It looks like a spare storage room in your mother's house! if I had to choose, Audi A4. remove the stickers, and you got a clean white audi in good condition. of course it'd see some better tires, might even go for 2 sets. well, 3 because canada, so gotta have winters, but normal driving tires, and some grippier track tires. it'd get brakes and coil-overs upgraded, and have the engine worked over, but nothing too serious. just light mods like tuning the ECU and a valve and port grind and polish, and the pistons, conrods, and cranks balanced. just things that will give a mild power and torque increase, but with the main goal to increase how efficiently the engine produces and maintains power and widen the power and torque band.

IMO, the closest that stickers from parts manufacturers should ever get to your car is on your rolling tool chest in your garage. PERIOD! Maybe on a workbench, the side of your welder, plasma cutter, air compressor, and so on, but never ACTUALLY on your car itself, unless you like being laughed at. Just my .02 cents though.. And as for tire lettering, if you like that stuff then buy tires that come from the factory with white letters or white outlined letters. If they don't make a tire with that in the size you need, that is because it shouldn't ever be done...
