I like to start from the bottom cause when your clearing "if" theres anything wrong with ur gun(not cleaned properly or has dust/dirt/water/thinner) itll happen at the bottom where no one sees it. And ill end at the top where there wont be dry overspray hitting it when your finished.

As always, a great video. I'm just a diesel tech by trade but just a novice when it comes to body and paint. I've taken body repair courses over the years but have learned so much more from you. You explain everything perfectly and its understandable. So i don't "over think it". My question: Is spaying single stage acrylic much different? Keep up the great work.

I can't tell you what will work for you.but I can tell you how I learned...I listened and learned all I could from guys like Brian who obviously mastered this...and I bought all my own stuff man.. compressor/guns/10x20 canopy and put tarps on the sides and made a ghetto spray booth and bought base paint.. different reducers.. different clears..da sander discs..poly primer..sealers..you get the picture.AND THEN I STARTED PAINTING EVERYTHING AND KEPT PAINTING EVERYTHING UNTIL I GOT IT RIGHT...you can do it..and with practice you will be an excellent painter

Can u do an episode of just clear coat and how not to get orange peel ...becuz of tat it's hard get good result even if u went sand it without scratches when buff ... I just want get great results to avoid to much orange peel wet sand and get great result to avoid much steps after tat ....

I never liked doing this because in my opinion, it looks like it looses the effect. So here it is. 50% of painters will mix base coat half and half with mid-coat before putting on mid-coat. What are your feelings on doing this?

On tough pearls I do it all the time and have talked about it on my videos before. I always add 1.5 coats of straight pearl after
