Hey guys! I listen to the show on the app. I have a 2008 Mustang Gt that's been modded for more power exhaust etc etc. All the lights on the car sometimes flutter. It used to only do it at idle but now it does it the majority of the time i drive but not every time I drive it. Today it's wet outside and very humid and it did not do it at all. The other day it was dry outside and it did it like crazy and kept dimming my headlights etc. I'm wondering if a loose ground is to blame based on what's it doing?? If so, where? The battery light comes on at idle but goes off when the car starts moving as well but it seems to be tied to movement of the car or the engine movement as I hit the gas as to the light going out. I asked about this once before in a KZbin comment but at the time, it was only doing this at idle. You guys said belt and tensioner. I have not replaced those two things yet but the belt looks and feels good. Free of cracks etc. I don't mind replacing belt and tensioner but I want to be sure that's what it is first, since, now the lights are fluttering when driving at speed and at idle. Thank you!

@@jasonh.8110 thanks for watching the show! It sounds like it could also be an alternator too. We would check the voltage directly at the back of the alternator at that main battery post and put the other lead of your test meter right at the battery ground and see if the voltage fluctuates up and down, if it does something either going on with the alternator or the control of the alternator which is done through the engine computer. At that point, you’ll need to start checking more grounds and power supply to see if the engine computer is getting proper power. But we have seen many of these with alternator failure. Take care.
