Great experimental video, very useful! Before taking decision to get seat cover from outsider for seats with airbag , the assurance has to come from the manufacturer and the insurance policy should accept that getting car seat cover from outside is complaint and OK! The accessories/car seat cover shop guy may even give you 100% gaurantee that the covers are air bag complaint, but they are not going to be of help or justify if the airbag don't deploy when needed! It is better to decide wisely and don't risk life or face issues with insurance due to the seat air bag not deploying! I have a honda city base model, which has 4 air bags (2 on the seats), with fabric seats. I chose the seat cover from the manufacturer, which is air bag complaint on paper!

I am having i20asta 2017 model with 6airbags. In 2017 I don’t have seat cover suitable for my car. So currently my rexin seat cover is fully covered with seat. I was thinking to change the seat covers to open the airbags. But this demo cleared my doubts, hopefully my seat covers will allow airbags to open up.👍🏽

Air bag will remain inflated like a balloon for less than 100 milliseconds. It remains inflated for 100ms just to absorb the impact and does not remain inflated always once it is activated. If it remains like a balloon inflated for a anytime more than 100ms, it can even cause a fatal injuries

This is happened just because you have triggered the blast artificially, But if any of the sensors gets affected due to covering, the airbags may not work during real accidents. Please avoid such kind of videos which may lead to false hope to customers.

You're the one misleading. First of all airbag trigger sensor won't be available in seats man. Sensor enga irukkum... Epdi work aavum ne theriyaama seat cover pottaa sensor affect aavum nu sollittu irukka... Adhukku 2 like vera.
