@6:50 Well mentioned point. It is called service manual. I recommend all to get one copy of your own car. It will give clear idea , eg- The clutch play should be _mm it will be clearly written. If overtightened or overplay , it won't cause major issue, but what happens is you lose the durability or longetivity of vehicle .

I think after warranty it is better to do service outside. We can see what the technician is doing and also save money. For changing any components we can buy original parts and get it changed at local garage. We can save a lot.

Sometimes when i started my micra car with push button the Rear View mirrors did not open....when i told the trial mechanic....he removed the mobile charger and started the engines...now both the mirrors opened nicely... If it's anything related to mechanical problem, do with local mechanic. If anything related to electronic, go for service center. I had a misfire in Chevrolet Spark and company service found the issue with OBD and fixed it with 12k. Local mechanic doesn't know what exact issue and spent 15k before going to company service. So it's a great experience for me.

Been in this industry for more than 10yrs, and the only difference between local and dealership service is, dealership are accountable whereas the local garage cannot be held accountable. Also the dealerships engineers are trained and technical information/ updates are available with them whereas local garage will not have it.

Been a customer to both dealership and mechanics for the last 12 years and my experience is dealership are good for your vehicle but may add unnecessary services in the bill. They have margins and may include unnecessary part changes to reach the sales margins. Trusted mechanics are good but where to find Trusted mechanics and how much we can trust them Is a question.

I am owning ford eco sport, diesel variant for last 4 years. Still now Maintaining my car service with company assistance. I never feel.they charged high. Maximum was 6000 RS charged one . Normally they charge around 4000 -4500 per 10 k kilometres. The most important thing is , we cam trust their parts and vechicle experience Wer I seen lacking in outside service. Some may do proper but not definitely not most of them. I always trust company service.

to me it looks very entry level. In my view, changing oil, starter, alternator, radiator, condensor,ac compresor, cv axle, strut, battery , tire, alignment you can do it outside, anything related to engine, engie computer, obd2 code, electric issues, evap core repalcement, go to dealer.

All services (Basic) Engine Oil, Air Filter, Oil Filter, AC or Cabin Filter, Spark Plugs, Brake Pads all are same done by Company's Service workshop or Local Service workshop. If the Warranty period is over I recommend to do in the Service Outside. In simple Terms. All Service are same , but parts change body parts and other Materials in the engine than the Basic Service. I recommend the Car to be done in Company service to get the perfection.

Company service ஐ விட ஒரு நல்ல tranferecy உள்ள carage இல் service செய்வதே சிறந்தது. வெளி carage இல் நமது கண் முன்பே oil மற்ற spares parts கள் மாற்றுகின்றனர். Company service il அதிகமாக labour charges போடுகின்றனர். உதாரணம் Rs 6500 to 7000. Motham Rs 16000 bill போடுகின்றனர். எனவே என்னோட கருத்து என்னவென்றால் நல்ல போதுமான equipment உதாரணமாக car ஐ தூக்கி under chase இல் வேலை செய்யக்கூடிய அளவிற்கு வசதி உள்ள carage இல் service செய்வதே சிறந்தது. இதனால் நமக்கு Rs 8000 தில் வேலை முடிந்துவிடும். நமக்கு பக்கத்தில் carage இறுக்கும். நாம் எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் அவரை அழைக்கலாம். Dealer service within warranty is actually stealing their own principals and ignoring customers interests whereas after warranty it is more exploiting customers . For example the dealer does not service solenoid VTVT valve error which could be cleaned and fixed P0075 .but they advise to change the valve which costs INR .8000.

Great Fazil. It is a very good show. For past 10 years i am doing only with Company service. But facing an unhappiness always. However i am still with them. Even yesterday, my co-driver seat is filled with water at foot step. Obvious it is because of water path of AC is not clean. I was asking them to clear for past 3 services, not doing it properly. Local service is good. Its your vehicle you have full authority to decide and not the company. Let them give warranty or not finally your vehicle condition should be good and safe to travel.It doesn't depend on the size and facility of garage. It depends on good mechanic. A good mechanic is efficient enough to do service and repair even in the absence of facility .

Simply rule of the thumb, new car ,go to the company service center till your warranty obligations are over ,then its best to switch over to your knowledgeable friendly neighbourhood garage , if its a preowned car ,don't even think of company service, as far as engine oil is concerned, fully synthetic is the best ,it has a long drain period ( 15000kms or 1year which ever is earlier) cost wise the oils are not that expensive ,its around 500/- per litre for shell helix or castrol edge 5w30 , all the oe replacement parts are available allover the country or good old amazon is always there . To make the long story short, one with zero knowledge about his car will safe to patronise a company service center and a person with some knowledge will go to the local mechanic. To sight a small example- my vw vento 1.6 tdi cost 17000/- for a general oil service at vw a s c and around 9000/- at my neighbourhood mechanic, so the math is simple and I have total transparency on the entire job done .

The private service provider should be reliable and authorised; it is not advisable to give the service of vehicles to unknown workshops as there are possibilities of parts being replaced which will affect resale value and running of the vehicle in long run.

The big difference I felt is the local garage people mostly broke the plastic trim clips or the treads without their knowledge but they somehow manage to put it in and in long run we end up getting rattling noises this same may happens in company service centre's too but it's less

I normally service my Micra car at Nissan Ambattur and they are very transparent and allow me to check their service activities and clarify my doubts thro the Advisors and if necessary with their GM also... No doubt company service is always best, I first time given my car for repaint and clutch issue MCC motor service , perumbakkam, chennai. They charged me 89000 . In the bill they charged replacement of bumber, door, boot assembly etc, I paid the bill and received my car but for my shock non of the replacement is done all are old only, the repaint quality also very bad. And they damaged many parts during the repair, I really regret my decision of giving my other than authorised service station.

I am owning car for the past 20 years. So many times I fed up with the cost of car dealer cum service, I availed outside service, that too with branded service service like 3M, 5K car care. But to my dismay, finally I have to surrender to my original dealer, because of the poor quality of service.

Company Service more costly but original spare parts may always avl with them but money wise big deal only with local garages for well service

Thanks for your vedios. Pls provide vedio for how move a vehicle in Heavy traffic . Heavy traffic means vehicles moves inch by inch. And what gear we have to move a car in such a heavy traffic due to peak hours of a day. Because I have to careful on not hitting car moving front and my both sides. Expect a vedio on this ji and hope u understand my requirements. Thanks in Advance.

Good...but my exp..post wrnty...a local equipped garage ..having a pit at least ..having hoist ..ideal.than the dealer..for individual. Attention. Non exploitation..but not good for luxury cars like merc.BMW .etc

Not recommended to company service. வெளியில் அனுபவ சலிகள் அதிகம் பண நோக்கம் குறைவு... ஆனால் company இல் நம்ம தலையில் மிளகாய் அரைபத்திருக்கு chance அதிகம்

Last week my windows button wasn't working... service center has quoted 1600 for full set of button and labour of 400...2k....just visited near by local garage and done by just 250/-😐😐...

They may use barrel oil and coolants snd not from sealed cans

Toyota GLANZA maintenance is very high in Trichy.For instance my last service they have shown The labour₹4702.18 parts2990.45 Total amount₹7693 It is a regular service no major repairs.
