Car Show GoodGuys 2018 California

Some of the paint jobs are definitely world class. I've gone to the GoodGuys shows along with a lot of other high ranking custom car shows in CA and other parts of the country. I'm always drawn to the paint on the cars for some reason. I love a lot of the custom touches and the attention to detail as well. However, no matter how cool the custom touches are and how much attention has been paid to the details of a vehicle, without the correct color and the perfection of the body work, the paint will show any and all imperfections in the vehicle. But if all is done to perfection and the painter is one of the best in the business, that will make people immediately pay attention to the hard work and patience put into the vehicle. As a judge at many events, the number one thing that caught my eye was a gorgeous paint job. Then came the originality, next was how everything worked together and then the attention to the details. I know not every judge has the same order but most of the time it's the paint that will get your car or truck noticed.

Why does everyone think that the videos need a bunch of (music) all the time. I like to hear the rumble of a nice engine. By the way I did mute the sound and then I fixed the problem. I turned the video off.

Nice cars, excellent workmanship, but boring. Air ride, wagon wheels, small block Chevy engines, not much for originality. Most don't look drivable in the real world. But they are pretty.
