Hi, Thanks. I have Wagon R 2015 model and I have fitted an android 2 year back. But desperately need good quality steering control unit. 1) Do you still suggest me to install the steering control keys as you mentioned ? 2) How is the performance after a year or 2. 3) How long the Lithium-ion batteries last? 4) Can we mount the round units with screws on the wagon R steering plastic part? 5) When you press the button whether the horn also gets pressed? 6) How much is the diameter (in mm) of the round units? 7) Which model is good - Maxlink or SONSOU ? 8) Any other suggestion?

Is there like an input delay when you're pressing the button repeatedly? For example if you're clicking the volume UP/DOWN button in a fast manner will it register each presses successfully or theres a miss button as well?Because the other model that i bought has this annoying slight delay when quick pressing the button, so there will be an unwanted miss button when using it with the head unit.

There is a small delay and it does not register few clicks sometimes if not pressed properly. Generally a click sound assures of a registered action Nothing annoying though

Any Android Touchscreen system for Car will be great with these controls. If you can import a android music system like Seicane with steering control support, it will work just fine

The thing is that I have an aftermarket car stereo for VW Golf 5, which works good, but when it comes to steering wheel controls, I don't know how to adjust them, I tried every possible solution and it just won't work. I connected everything properly, but when I click on the button on the car stereo, nothing happens, I can't assign anything to it, it is like empty button. What could I do? It will need a android system or any other touch screen system which has configurable steering button menu. In your case, you can install a android head unit and this buttons or else get the Maruti Suzuki head unit of ZXI variant and ZXI steering wheel with wiring harness and clock spring

It will most probably not work of the host device lacks steering control option in settings. Mine is a Android head unit

Does it have the option for steering buttons configuration? If yes, Surely these will work. You can also look for aftermarket installation of factory steering wheels with inbuilt buttons like in the higher models, Some aftermarket shops can fit those as well

It can be done. There are rubber boots included in the package, it can be used fr installing the remotes inside the plastic of the Steering wheel. I am not considering that, don't want to drill a hole on my Steering plastic

Connect just one Key Wire and test the system, it will cover the basics like volume control and changing tracks

You need to check the wiring harness of the Headunit on the Brezza VDI Music system. If it has the Key1 and Key2 wiring, then these steering mounted buttons can easily be installed

Watch the full video. Its is not connected via Bluetooth. The steering mounted buttons send signal to the receiver module connected to the head unit via Radio Frequency

You can install these if you want. Battery easily lasts for more than a year. It takes coin style CR2O32 batteries. No issues with horn. Diameter wise it is around 35mm iirc. I have heard of maxxlink

Can you tell the polarity of key1 and key2? Which is positive and negative? I have sony xav5000 headunit which has a type remote input like 3.5 mm jack. I need to figure out which key is positive and negative and then connect them to the Jack.

Both key 1 and Key 2 are +ve. We have a black wire which will be the ground or - ve
