Great channel and content fellas. I'm a 52 year old who's been into car audio since 1987-88. Took a break for the last several yrs. I finally decided to dust off the old a/d/s PH-15 , PQ-20 and Kicker ZR360, Soundstream SPL-10's and start my install. I just have a couple questions I was hoping you guys could help me with. I have a 04 Mercedes E500 wagon with Harmon Kardon system and want to gut it and install my Pioneer AVIC 5200 EX , Audison Bit Nove along with amplifiers mentioned above. My question is does anyone make a harness that would require not to have to splice the speaker wires at the factory amp so I won't have to run speaker wires and be able to hook the factory amp back without any hassle. Also does anyone you can recommend that could make one, or do you think I should just run all new wires? I'm going with a/d/s 320i for midrange , a/d/s 320i soft dome tws, a/d/s si-6 6" subs for midbass and a/d/s 200i plate speaker for a center channel. All my equipment is in excellent condition and has been well taken care of. Also where could I find the speaker wire diagram at the amp to find the speaker locations if no harness available?

There are a bunch of companies that make a harness for your car, PAC is one, iData, and Axxces as well.

Upon checking idata and seeing they don’t offer anything and checking Crutchfield’s these are the notes. “No harness is available to help with this installation. You'll need to splice your new car stereo's wires into the vehicle's wiring.”

The audio system in this vehicle uses fiber optic lines. If you remove the factory radio, you'll have to rewire the entire system

You'll need to bypass the factory amplifiers by running speaker wires from your new stereo to each speaker.
