Thanks for uploading full episodes and not the 30min watered down ones NPR does as podcasts.

I grew up with this, my Mom would roll her eyes whenever she would hear them on the radio when she got back to the car while Dad and I waited for her shopping! But then she would laugh!

Haha, totally can relate. I remember growing up anytime we had a long drive my parents would put this show on and I absolutely hated it... thought it was the most boring thing ever, haha! Now, here I am... funny how things evolve.

Before the internet, CT was broadcast in my very remote European neck of the woods on Sundays 12:00 - 13:00 followed by Prairie Home Companion. 13:00 -15:00. I tuned in religiously every week for many years. Tommy and Ray had me in stitches without fail. I even learned a thing or two! Big thanks to NPR and YLE. Edit! Thank you for posting these!

Oh how I miss that New England accent from the Boston area! I made a living working for Raytheon which had facilities all around Boston. Shop Talk was the connection for me between where I lived in New Mexico and Massachusetts where I was born. What memories of these guys I have. Pure gold!!!

This is one of the realest episodes of car talk, I grew up listening to them and after my tech company had 8 layoffs last week out of 30 people and feeling the kindness of my 2 AAA tow truck drivers made me realize they’re paying $24 an hour and are hiring lololol

I got the puzzler right for the wrong reason, thought the number that the patron said was decreasing by one from the last number.

I have a 2014 Jeep Compass 4cyl standard transmission. I love it. When stopped on a hill I take my foot off the clutch and hit the gas fast to keep my car from rolling backward. I had driven this car for a week before I realized the car does not roll backward when the clutch is released. I know part of the braking system prevents the car from rolling back. What is this part called? I would really like to know. Thanks

I wish they’d do this too. If you come across other videos using the #### format. The first 2 numbers indicate the year (ie. 17## = 2017) the second 2 numbers indicate which episode it was (ie. ##20 = 20th Episode/ 20th Saturday) so this episode was released on the 20th Saturday of 2017 or May 20th, 2017.
