no they do not own them, but they do own, A LOT of their intelectual tech. On top of that, JLR can support themselves in the tech and engine department, but TATA provides the funds for Joint development and Tata wins because they have access to the tech Ford & JLR are developing. Its a round about way, but its just business, and saving face for both ford and Tata while JLR (JaguarLandRover) as a scapegoat.
