i own a similar car ; 1- the pointer doesn't miss that much .. for me, it's easy and accurate most for the time. 2- There's always a back button you find it at the right top corner of the screen .. 3- you still can get the Sport plus mode in the DD brand ..not only in F sport ..

Agreed. Been driving a GS350 demo for a couple days and it took all of about 15 minutes to get used to the mouse interface. I mean, its really fairly intuitive since just about everybody on the planet has had experience with a mouse...

That's a well built vehicle. This guy should have educated himself more about this particular vehicle, rather than lashing out with relentless criticisms. There's a back button buddy and also there's a menu, that allows the driver to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse.

It may not be the fastest car on the market, but sure a hell of a lot better quality, luxury, and reliability then any shitty Dodge. Also, the Charger isn't even in the same class as the GS350...

I've owned both as well and you're full of it if you think Lexus build quality is significantly behind the Germans. Obviously BMW (not really Audi or MB as much) has a performance advantage but Lexus has its own advantages as well. I think they both make fantastic automobiles, just with different goals.

This panned out. Today quarter-million mile examples of these 2013s driving like almost new cars, while the turbo engined BMWs are starting to show up unwrecked at pick-a-part yards, mechanically totaled.

There's a back button... look at 2:57 for example. Top right corner, hit the back arrow. Also another point, you can adjust the sensitivity of the controller so you don't overshoot the thing you want to press

Well Mac Guru, owning an M5 the GS350 actually feels like an E60 when you are sitting in it. I sat in it at the carshow. The mouse controller doesnt lock on to sections like the Idrive. I still prefer Idrive over the Lexus menu system. Still a great alternative to the BMW 5 series.

Sport + is available on both f sport and luxury models. Only absent in the base premium model.

I can understand him though! I was at a dealer with my mom a couple of weeks ago, and that interface is so confusing, considering that Lexus cars are bought by people like my mum, i.e old. I had no problem with it, but put an older person in there, and it just puts them off, and I totally understand Brian on that front.

I have this exact model but with RWD instead of AWD. It's been very much a riot compared to my Audi A7 of the same year which when it isn't in the shop is pretty much asleep.

I just feel maybe your mom and Brian here just didn't give it enough time to warm up to it because many reviews I have seen just love the Lexus interface and the new little "mouse" joystick kind of thingy. Though I do feel like lexus is trying to move to a more broader target for more young/ middle aged people. So you may have something going on there.

I usually love Brian's videos, but this one just didn't seem nearly as indepth as his usual videos. It almost felt like he had something strongly against this Lexus. Not that being biased against something is horrible as a reviewer as he has been before. It's just that he didn't seem as funny and cheery in this video as he usually is. Love my 2015 GS 350! This guy whines too much. The infotainment interface isn’t that bad once you use it for awhile, but he’s right on one thing....it doesn’t make a lot of sense to get the F-Sport package...it’s basically the same car as the base.

Dude I also have a 2012 Nissan Maxima but this is kind of better. First off, this GS just looks sexier, and it's interface is better than my Maxima's. The interior design and the rear leg space is better than my Maxima. I'm just saying, yeah the Maxima may have a lot of bells and whistles, but does it really look better or operate better than this car? The only thing the Maxima does better is 0-60 which is kind of silly I mean how you gon' call this an F-Sport yet it's slower than a base Maxima

Car Tech is one of my fav cars review shows Brian always knows what hes talking about but i honestly think he miss it with this car .. he didn't take time to get to kno the car anyone kno Lexus especially his pass Lexus reviews he loves it but this one he says its horrible becus he over shoots stuff nd he kept complain about things that doesn't matter he didn't mention the night view system n heads up display and stuff like that and not to mention the bak button n homescreen icons

I said, I had no problem with the system, and if I had the money, which I don't, I would not mind buying the Lexus. But an old person like my mother, does not want to get used to something. They want to sit down, put the radio on, and not have to fuss about to get the A/C working.

FYI in every screen on the display it has a back button in the top right hand corner on the first screen of the split screen expects in the map nav mode. and the sub icons wen u first used the system i grantee you will know what each stand for even a five year old would. if any1 really interest in this car look at more reviews nd DO RESEARCH so far this car is selling like weed.. this review was very poor on his part get to kno the car then comebak w/ one not just opinion but facts we can used

I had many Lexus before.. 1 IS, 2 GS, 1 RX, and 1 RXh. But I am switching all to BMW.. Cuz the overall I am still want to enjoy the performance over the dash board. Lexus has a very fine design but BMW has more fun to drive. And BMW still offers 4yrs/50k free maintenance!! Including the brake. It's quite a different. And I feel BMW brake is much stronger than any Lexus, except GS. Only GS can compete with German technology..

Nissan has yet to update the Maxima, which still has a very out dated tech features (Navigation for example). Nissan isn't even in the same category! Lexus is a luxury company that has been known for their quality cars and reliability. It's far from a "Toyota on Roids", a term that many ignorant people like to use.
