The common misconception about Oranges is that they are a tree when in fact, they are actually shrubs, it’s best not to remove the lower branches because they protect the delicate trunk from pests and sun scorch and help maintain the moisture of the shrub as it gets older.

I agree. So delicious. Today was my first day having one. Unlike any orange I’ve ever had before! It has more density and juice. It’s sweet and is not as tart as other oranges.

Great little video! You're a lovely lady with a pretty, smart daughter. You've raised her well. Just so you know, the Cara Cara is just another mutated version of Navel Orange. Many nurseries have tags on these plants that say " Cara Cara Navel Orange ". In fact, if you look at the very fruit you cut in the video as a demonstration, it does have that distinct 'belly button' from which the name 'Navel' came from. 🙏💗🙏💗

She's telling yall the truth. I sampled this fruit at White Forest nursery in Bakersfield yesterday man oh man it was so tasteyyyyyy with a hint of berry. Easy to peal just a regular Washington navel but far more superior taste. Hands down taste winner of all the varieties I sampled.

Another question, do you ever get cara cara oranges that are not pink inside? I purchased a tree labeled cara cara but my fruit is normal yellow color like a regular orange...im disappointed 😞
@p-treegardening8366 Жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that.. honestly when my tree was young it did produce one or two regular orange color ( on the inside) oranges per season, But now that it’s more mature it only produces the pink colored ones. Maybe give it some more time. Good luck! Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤️
