Richard and Cara's relationship is so much more interesting than Richard and Kahlan (though their romance is still epic and beautiful) because they started as enemies yet became steadfast friends. Cara chose Richard as her Lord Rahl despite being taught to hate him. He showed her what true leadership looked like and she followed him despite being annoyed at some of his Seeker's traits - caring too much for every single creature in distress XD
