I would prefer a fourth setting on the gas regulator that is a no gas option that would allow the rifle to function like a bolt action rifle.

An 816 in 6mm ARC makes more sense than the current Sig offerings.

Are you guys planning on making a longer handguard for the 14.5 and 16" rifles? Most of the industry is offering rails that come right up behind the threads of the barrel which allows more space and better placement for force multipliers for those lengthier guns

@DevonReclaimed, this is an external piston gun, to go to a longer handguard would require all new gas systems They won’t do that, maybe something like the LMT shovelnose handguard could work. Otherwise, you need to stick with DI, or buy the 11.5”

This is the evolution of the SIG 516. It was designed by the same engineer, who also worked with HK on the HK416.

@JohnRambo-zz6gy, just how exactly should they lengthen the handguard and still access the gas piston in front?? Other than something like the LMT shovelnose, there really isn’t a way. Some of you dumfuqs should use your brain cells more, the lack of use has caused serious atrophy.

I always Said HK416 is overrated and overpriced and i love the innovative solutions and systems of American ARs , though i am a big fan of Brn180 and i wanted to say i would prefer this rifle over hk416
