Very nice motorhome Peter, with some good touches, it has to be a contender for the price

Meant to add in my previous comment that the i339 version also features a full double island bed.. wish the i338 could match the i339 in that respect.

I've just ordered a Rapido 854f (as wanted rear lounge) which is slightly more expensive so this is good value and generally well thought out.Length of the awning looks a little mean though and bang on about lockers impacting on ability to sit up in bed.
@peterv36423 жыл бұрын
Did you watch our review of the 854F? Hope you like your new 'van - it's a rare combination of garage and rear lounge in a sensible length

I so wish we had rvs like this in the states, everything here is so much about maximum everything, cheers!

I own the virtually identical Carado i339 (better in my view as it has the option for 3850kg rather than 3650, larger gas capacity, plus a completely separate WC to the shower room - which puts it in a different class). I will say this for the Carado i339 and i338; I've had absolutely no problems of any kind in 4-years.

That's good to hear. Always have admired Carado build quality

Good review but as usual spoiled for me by unnecessary fancy, jerky camerawork between segments. Have to agree with the review that not being able to sit up in the rear beds is a big design fault.

TV bracket included in the £72000. What amazing value. How can they do it?
@peterv36423 жыл бұрын
I didn't say that the TV bracket makes it amazing value but try finding another German A-class at this price. Others charge more - and charge extra for the bracket!

For my camper second TV i bought bracket for 7 euro ..12V 24inch TV with 3 year warranty costed 130 euro ..i installed all in half hour ..German motorhome producers would probably charge me 2000 euro for it as option

I’m never quite sure how many people really want a motorhome with two double beds, if I was looking at this I’d want an option not to have the drop down and get more payload. Look at A Class motorhomes on campsites I’m sure you’ll see 99% are occupied by two people in a relationship. Although no driver door always puts me off non U.K. A Class vehicles ( that and not having the money).
@peterv36423 жыл бұрын
It's partly about resale - when these 'vans come onto the used market they are more saleable and appeal to a wider audience if they have four berths. Also, grandparents (who occasionally take grandkids) are a big part of the market, with the extra berths rarely being used but there when needed.
@GedandMichele2 жыл бұрын
Yup.Thats what we liked about the Rapido.Lost the drop down bed, gained a Rooflight, proper lockers and extra payload plus still have lounge for emergencies

Does anyone make a sub 7 metre A Class with a rear bathroom where the bedroom is and just a drop down bed? We are a husband & wife who travel together, no kids, no need for anything other than a good size drop down bed. We need a decent size garage for a Vespa Scooter……….can anyone suggest a good option?

Travelworld Price has gone up to Carado I 338 Edition15 New: £82,135.00 inc VAT . £72k ?????????????????
@peterv36423 жыл бұрын
I queried the price. The £72k quoted is as shown here. The £82k figure includes all manner of extra gear, inc satellite TV system, that will probably be added to this show model at a later date. I'd rather have it without the options at £72k!
