I think the best part is that it's naive about the actuality of what it means to be a Samurai. And that in the modern world, there isn't any need or relevance for them beyond it being a traditional practice. The 2k's were a dreamy time that pushed the boundaries. An imperfect time filled with dreams. Edit: I was actually surprised to discover that this is a 2021 song. It has all the elements of a song made a decade or two ago, although certainly more exercised in how it sounds. I love how it sounds ^^ In particular, I love the way it reminds me of a less complicated time, where the concept of ninjas and samurai and combat was borderline magical, and that love was power, and all sorts of whishy-washy nonsense that just felt right. I'll be certain to keep up with this channel more often ^^

I feel the same. Guilty pleasures don't really need to feel "guilty". Knowing the truth behind things is important, of course. But enjoying life is also important, and far more fleeting, while history is well enough documented that it can go on undaunted, even if we play it fast-and-loose for fun. Our temporary lives, not written on those books, need to be enjoyed. So, fun stuff like this is enriching for the heart and soul, just as important as the mind, and I definitely love the retro feel that even the new Caramaella Girls songs have, capturing that feeling of an innocent time, and letting us continue carrying it with us into the future. ^_^
