It's not that Leorio is weak, is that he is a "normal" dude in a group of super humans pretty much so he will always look weaker in comparison.

Yeah that's not even it. Leolio is the strongest of the three (in physical strength at least, Kurapika is probably a better combattant, just much weaker in term of physical strength). Netero himself stated that Leolio was about equal to a martial artist master who arrived at the end of the exam through his own means. Leolio isn't weak, he's not even weak in comparison to Gon and Kurapika, he's simply stronger than them and while the manga never make a big show of it, the anime decided to ignore that entirely. By the end of next episode, Leolio is about half as physically strong as Killua. That's insanely strong.

Is it me, or does almost every reaction to HxH feature the reactors calling Mike "Mike", like it's short for Michael, even though the characters in the show are clearly pronouncing it as "Mikay", because it's literally spelt like that in Japanese, and not "マイク - Maiku"...
