Important remark: the ranks don't always mean a hero is stronger, the ranks are about the hero accomplishments nothing else. Apart from rank 1 and 2 of the S ranks (which are untouchable ok), the others don't follow a straight pattern. You saw it yourself previously with everyone considering King to be the strongest man on earth, despite being rank 7. For example you won't see it this season (so not anytime soon lol) but Flashy Flash is actually surprisingly strong, despite being rank 13 (he rarely reports his kills). That's why the community loves to argue about which hero is stronger, even if in some aspects most people agree, in others they don't.

the higher s ranks are generally stronger than the lower but as you say its not a definitive order by any mean. zombie man is a good example. although still strong in his own way he is definitley on the lower end of s rank strength wise. but hes's probably the most dilligent of the s ranks hence the higher ranking

That's the proof the ranking is not meant to follow only strength. I don't see why you thought I was refering to him being a fraud. King is the only example they have for now of ranking inconsistent with power. I actually hesitated to mention Flash since it could be seen as a minor spoil, but honestly they'll probably forget 70% of season 2 by the time season 3 finally (!) comes out.

@@xenotypos I get that, but I don’t think rank 7 is too low for King. He killed a few monsters REALLY hard vs killing a lot of them. Even Saitama started getting a lot credit really fast, and he isn’t perceived nearly as favorably.

"Taking Saitama out of the equation, easily the strongest person we've seen". Scary part is this is Tatsumaki at like 0.0001% power. Girl is seen as the hero associations final weapon for a reason. With the presumed exception of Blast (and as we know Saitama), it is believed that not a single creature on the planet has any hope against her in a one on one battle. Man, I can't wait for her fights in season 3/4, I spent about a year reading through a battle of hers and it was time well spent, Murata in the art for the upcoming arc just went insane and Tatsumaki just radiates cool. Not to mention that her manga art makes her absolutely gorgeous.

Saitamas biggest power is he can take hits. Every powerful heroes became weak if they get hit but Saitama can take every hit and can learn much faster then anyone so he is unbeatable ever..

The tournament is just an excuse to take Saitama out of action while the rest of the heroes can have a chance to appear, and start their own personal growth arcs (which is the main theme of season 3, if it ever comes out.) As the Monster Association (and Garou) has shown, everyone has weaknesses. The creator still finds interesting stories to tell within this joke of a premise, but he needs to put the joke aside every now and then. That's why a good portion of the story from now on will have Saitama being absent from the action, otherwise it would just be a rerun of season 1.

Ah, so she is only of those multiple sneezers. The problem with this season is that unlike the first, it isn't a full arc. Instead its like 1/3rd or so of an arc. Treats (lowest to highest) Wolf (not mention in anime) - basically a normal danger Tiger - danger to areas Demon - Danger to a city Dragon - Danger to multiple cities God - Danger to all of humanity Also, Boros has not been confirmed to be God threat. There is an unofficial classification that is below God called "Above Dragon" or "High Dragon" but Boros is the closest we've seen to God so far into the anime.

The thing with season 2 is its not bad at all, the story and manga content is a lot better and this is when the story kinda started while season 1 was build up and just getting to know everyone. However the anime adaption isnt just as good in s2 as in s1 there is just idk, there are so many power point shots (still shots), the motion is missing completely and the cuts and general directing just isnt good. I think everbody enjoyed it however when you look back at season 1 you really notice how much love is missing in season. Btw anyone who didnt read the manga yet, its a 10/10 from the start and murata is one of the best mangaka in the world his art is so insane and the paneling is so smooth you want to keep reading all day while beeing served artwork from another world.
