Hello from Wisconsin! I am fascinated by the paintings of the Wyeth Family. In particular, a painting called "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth. I really enjoy your KZbin videos. I wish I had half your knowledge. Thank you again, Steve

Hi Steve! I'll definitely have a look at the Wyeth family - thanks for the recommendation. I'm very much an amateur and have to research every video in a lot of detail ☺

Excellent video! Caravaggio has such mystery in his paintings, as you showed in the last painting, where he painting himself. It seems he is always trying to speak to the viewer.

Thanks very much! I absolutely love his work - sometimes it's a bit of a riddle but that keeps it interesting

Thank you! Wow, Australia! I've never been but would love to visit. What are you favourite artworks there?

@@arthistorygirl2327 You will love Australia; it is a wonderful Country. One of my favourite art works in Australia is The Banquet of Cleopatra by Giambattista Tiepolo (1744). It is the jewel of the crown at National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne.

@@paulogil5265 Sounds great - I'll have a look. Yes, I end up watching quite a few Australian youtubers and looks extremely warm to a Brit living in rainy Scotland 😂

As you are in Glasgow, how about Charles Rennie Mackintosh and also The Scottish Colourists?
@arthistorygirl23273 жыл бұрын
This is a great idea, it's now been suggested a few times which makes it inevitable. One of my next videos is going to be about the Skating Minister in the National Galleries of Scotland collection
