Hi Phil, I hand wash our caravan at the end of every trip so tend to do my checks then. Luckily ours has no roof joint. The caravan generally hibernates Dec and Jan, but Gail’s hoping for a Jan get away, weather permitting. Cheers Rob 😀

Hi Rob n Gail. Your van is lovely and spotless having seen it up close. I wish we could enjoy the season a little longer but sadly Juliet suffers with her back so it remains in the storage yard for a few months longer. Our van is at Longtons at present and will be there for a week more😕. I hope to have it back soon so I can clean the outside and put it to bed. Thanks Phil.🙂👍

@lostweekendscaravan Hi Phil , thanks for the reply , ye I can wait no probs, our sprite is only 2 years old so the skylight cleaning is not a necessary at the moment but will be sometime. I do clean the roof once every couple of months to keep on top of it. Usual extension brush and cleaning products. Mainly Jenny chem caravan cleaner which is really good, and the old silky cream cleaner for the black streaks. Keep up the vlogs, fantastic as always 👍🏻

Thanks for another informative video. It’s always good to have some timely reminders prior to laying up for the winter. Having an Elddis, I’ll certainly look at the roof cowl.

Hi Noorman. Mine is at the Dealer having some cosmetic work done. Once it is back. It will be cleaned and the cover fitted. Check all your roof sealants and any cowlings. Inside checks next week. Thanks Phil.👍🙂

Hi Alison & Keith. Oh dear. get Keith to check the rubber seal and for any cracks on the lens. If the screws that hold it in are on the outside make sure they are tight. Keep me updated. Thanks Phil. 👍🙂
