Thanks Karen. I wish we could do more, but to be honest, the way I do them is rather laborious. The long travel vids are close to 4-5 days of time invested in post. Sometimes longer. The perks of being a perfectionist. 😂🤦♂️ But the reality is that as I’m still working on the road. I am often pumping client work out an these vids take a backseat. Hopefully have Swimcart finished soon, so there’s that to look forward to. 👍 Thanks for watching. 👌

Great vid guys just wondering a few things, how was Safari to deal with? and back up service for the electrical side and has this been reliable? Also what does your total GCM weight come in at car+Van+ people?
@SaltEarthandSun2 жыл бұрын
Hey Tezza! 👌 Safiery are great to deal with. We have had only one real issue, and that was supply chain related, waiting a long time for a replacement portable panel. Bruce is a very clever guy and the systems they build are actually the best in the business. I wouldn't touch anything else and will be banging on their door when we do another build. The convenience has been next level. Can't remember exact weights, but we weighed properly before we left and had to make some adjustments to loading and balancing to get more weight off the ball and even everything up. We even switched to the 4.5KG Gas bottles on the front instead of the 9kg and that saved quite a bit directly off the ball. As well, having the Safiery system down the back corner is great as a counter balance. 👍 Hope that helps. 👍

That Van set up looks amazing and there are so many cool ideas added! We should hopefully be ordering our van this year from Sunseeker and should get it in about 2 years with the build wait time! 😆 Watching your vid gets me (The husband of our channel) excited for when we eventually get ours! I'd love to pick your brain but I'll tone it down with a few of questions for now! 😁 Do you have anything like the Carafan installed to help with the dust? What portable fire pit do you guys use? Can you give a comparison between the induction cooktop and a gas cooktop? (we also don't want an oven) Did you get your panels and lithium setup all done prior to delivery? (ok, that's it for now) 🤙🏽

Hi guys, great vid, and like your setup. Have you weighed your van and Ranger "loaded". If so , what were your weights ? am asking cos I have the BT50 , GVM upgrade and tow a 22.5 off road van and havent got around to checking it loaded as yet....Cheers, keep enjoying the good life...
@SaltEarthandSun3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, we did our weights before we left home and and had to rebalance a change a few things to get it all right. Challenge with the BT50 and Ranger platform is that just a GVM upgrade isn't going to cut it. You need increased GCM also. If we didn't have the GVM3500/GCM7000 Lovells Upgrade, we wouldn't have been able to design our setup the way we did, with Canopy etc. So if you haven't got a GCM upgrade also, and you have a canopy towing a 22+ van you might be in a bit of a pickle there as the standard GCM of a Ranger/BT 6000 and you're likely well over that. Best to get it checked by a professional mate. 👍 Hope that helps.

Yeah true? How does it go on the dometic cassetes? Can't see how it would work tbh. 🤷♂️
@gothepatrol3 жыл бұрын
@@SaltEarthandSun it vents the gas out through a charcoal filter. The blue Chem stops stuff breaking down.. the SOG actually promotes it .. meaning you can use standard toilet paper no problems.. every time the blade on toilet is opened the little fan kicks in making a negative pressure in the cassette.. meaning no smells can physically come inside the bathroom.. the vent is drilled into the cassette hatch door.. the pickup replaces the small top cap on the cassette… with no chemical you can dispose of in a national park drop dunny if need be
